I recently attended an event where I needed to glue fringe to a round tablecloth. Since there were no electrical plugs close by, I first tried using the Norbell cordless glue gun, which did not work out at all. Luckily, I had also purchased Aleene's Fabric Glue Stick which I had with me just in case. It worked perfectly. I just ran the glue stick around the edge of the tablecloth and the fringe went on without a hitch and stayed put until the next day with no issues. As far as how well it washed out, I cannot attest to that since the tablecloths were provided by the event coordinators and they took care of cleaning them.

I’ve bought this pack about 4 times for far. I make a lot of baby/children’s clothes using various weight knit fabrics and this is amazing for holding the fabric together and allows me to sew perfect lines when matching and sewing seams together.

This works just like a glue stick. You rub it all over the back of a stencil and lay it down on fabric. I stenciled fabric pennant to give my 70's trailer that hippie look. I bought the stencils, fabric pennant, foam stompers (aka pounces, I think?) and waterproof fabric paint. First I laid down a plastic bag on the table. I rubbed rubbed the back of the stencil with the temporary glue stick, laid it on the pennant, rubbed the top carefully with my fingers and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, I dipped the stomper in a little bit of waterproof fabric paint and dabbed it until the ink was almost off the stomper and I stomped it on the stencil. It takes a little bit of practice so I suggest using a scrap piece of fabric to get the hang of it. Afterwards, I peeled off the stencil and the glue washed off in the sink in cold water. It worked great and I got a lot of compliments on my "hippie" pennant.

Quick and easy to apply, washes out easily, and holds firm so you have a good basting joint while you're sewing. Works best on normal garment or quilting fabrics but won't stick easily to feltier fabrics.

This glue works ok, but not to good at holding fabric and zipper tape together. It helps, somewhat, but not as good as I hoped. About the same as school glue sticks, that are cheaper. Takes a minute to dry, with clips holding it in place. It’s ok.
