Very pleased with this set of alcohol inks. The colors are fabulous, and they work great! They're super easy to use and I am very pleased with the quality and how they look in UV resin. I wasn't expecting much for the low price, and these are much better quality than I was expecting. Really glad I gave them a try!

I think this set is decent for the price, especially if you're just getting started with alcohol inks. There is a lovely assortment of colors included.

This ink did not absorb well. I didn't really get good use of it.

So the ink quality itself is pretty decent, they have great color and they look really pretty but these bottles leak horribly. After you open them it doesn't matter how tight you put the lid on you're going to have leakage. I feel like the value was okay but when I came back the next day after I open them and found that over half of the bottles had leaked and I had lost quite a bit of product I was not happy. So I feel like I paid full price for something I was able to use less than half of so I'm not too happy about that. With that being said they are easy to use, they color resin really nicely but I do wish the number one the bottles were a little bit bigger, the bottles are really small, and I really wish they would do something to fix the leaky bottles because like I said when you purchase something and the next day you come back and over half the product has leaked from more than half of the bottles it's frustrating! This is a great assortment of colors and is a very affordable set! I have just got into epoxy resin crafts (specifically making D&D dice) and this is my first set of alcohol inks. The bottle are small but I think they will last a long time: in the images above I used 4 drops of the blue color into 40mL of resin (1.3 fluid oz). And 2 drops of the gold. The whitish side that you can see in the “5” face of the dice was created by adding 4 drops of white to 20mL of resin (I was going for an ocean effect, which I think worked!).I specifically added less of the gold because I wanted a light glitter/shimmer effect, so it worked perfectly for what I wanted. However I wanted to note that based on this I do not think it would be possible to use the metallic inks in this set to get an opaque/metallic finish— if 2 drops in 40mL gives a light sparkle, then the amount you would need to to add to get an actual metallic effect would be such a high volume that it would interfere with the resin hardening. If you want a metallic effect dry mica powder would be better. But the metallic alcohol inks work great for adding sparkle! The transparent colors are all very vibrant! I have included pictures using the blue, but I have also tried the pink, rose, and orange (but the resin is still hardening so I can’t take pictures).I should also note that the dice I have shown here are a little bit opaque because I have a lot of bubbles in the resin, NOT because of the alcohol ink. The alcohol inks are totally transparent (well of course except for the metallics which are sparkly and the white which is lightly opaque). You have to cut off the tip of the bottle to use these inks. But be warned: they squirt everywhere when you cut off the top- just a few drops squirt out, but they are very concentrated pigments so I would suggest either cutting the tops off low down in a sink, or outside (I do all my resin work outside anyways for maximum ventilation.) also make sure to point the bottle away from you so the squirt doesn’t hit your clothes. Some of the bottles squirted about 3 feet when I cut the tip off.I am not sure if the bottles leak or not because I have stored them upright- I would suggest also keeping them upright just in case.)Also there were 4 little orange caps included (last pic) and I have no idea what they are for: the ink bottles already have skinny nozzles and the color comes out 1 drop at a time (although pretty fast) also if the orange caps are supposed to go on the bottles, why are there only 4? I didn’t use them and am perfectly happy with the bottles dispensing drop by drop without them.Note I haven’t been able to test whether the white, which is labeled “precipitation” white can actually sink and form the petri effect: I am doing my resin work outside and it is winter right now, so the resin gets very very thick from the cold, way too thick for any alcohol ink to be able to sink. In 4 months or so when it is summer I will be able to test whether the white does sink.

This alcohol ink set comes with fifteen small but highly concentrated resin dyes that are 10ml capacity plastic bottles with a twist cap. The bottles are clearly labeled. There are four orange puncture pins included to pierce the opening of the bottle when the cap is taken off, which results in being able to dispense just one drop at a time in a controlled and easy manner. There is also one set of plastic gloves included. The colors included can create a wide variety of patterns and the deepness of the color in the epoxy resin adjusted by adding more drops of the dye. Note that there are two precipitate white bottles, and the metallic colors give a nice shimmering effect. This set allowed me to figure out which colors I like the most and plan on replacing those with larger bottles when needed. The performance of the dyes was more than satisfactory, and I am happy with them.

At least one so far seems to have an issue with the tip. I had trouble getting it pierced with the included pins. It was like the pin wasn't quite long enough. Ended up getting blue ink all over myself but did get it open eventually. They work well in reason and give a good amount of color albeit transparent which I expected. It took a lot but I was able to get a nice solid black out of it. The black ink stinks, but I think that's kind of normal for these. The rest smell fine.
