Maybe they they read older reviews, had a lot of returns and beefed up the packaging. Maybe my Amazon delivery team was just really good. Mine arrived in excellent condition. As shown in the photo, the manufacturer has reinforced the edge of the package with about 3" of folded over and ridged cardboard. I had no bent edges or bends in the middle.I got it mounted up in about 5 minutes by setting it on a sideways 2x6 and fastening the top middle screw, then leveling it and filling in most of the rest of the mounting holes. The middle rows of bright blue bins are new Akro units, the rest I've had for many years, but they fit just fine.I am happy with this purchase. This is not a cheap unit, but I don't deduct stars for price. Based on what I estimated I would have to do to manually create metal mounting points for this many bins, it was just much easier to buy and install this unit.

1. These appear to have been shipped from the manufacturer with no box-only bubble wrap. While they were packed inside an Amazon box with other order items, they were bent and twisted and there's no way that happened inside the outer box. They were that way when they went in the box.2. This listing clearly says "2 PACK"...it even says "2 PACK" on a sticker on the bubble wrap. I ordered 2 "2 PACKS"...so I should have received 4 total. I only received 2 and again they were both bent and twisted in multiple places.Waste of time returning item and trying to hunt it down with the correct quantity in new condition.

Very sturdy, useful, and lots of storage space, and looks great. One of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. I was able to take 2 totes full of painting supplies, screws, nails, etc and get it all organized with this system. I went with the 18x61 size and it works so well. I know some have mentioned that theirs has been damaged in shipping, but mine came in perfect shape and well packaged - even got a day earlier than originally thought. Thank you!

I put this panel up in the hall way leading to my office. I mapped out where the studs were using a stud finder and marked those with a pencil. The holes in the panel match up to the studs which makes mounting a breeze. There were no bolts included in the package so I had to use my own. I mounted and leveled it and put the bins on and started filling them up. They work great and seem very sturdy.

Got 2 louvers 36 40320 bins, and enough dividers to turn each jarbe bin into 4 smaller ones. So that means I have 144 bins in a 36 inch wide 40 inch high 11 inch deep foot print. Ech bin is still big enough for me to retrieve small parts from even with my size 14 fingers. And guys even my wife admits it looks good. Bought the bin covers so no dirt or debris gets in bins. Currently this mounted to the wall and is holding about 300 lbs of hardware. Not too shabby. I am going to order 1 more set up to put over my work bench. Expensive? YES. Worth it he'll yeah!!!.

This is a a great option for creating a customized storage system. The product is solid and exactly what I expected. Unfortunately,I had to deduct a star as it arrived damaged. One of the corners was badly bent and folded onto itself. While reading reviews of this and similar products I noticed this is a trend so I partly expect mine could arrive bent. Rather than go through the return process, I simply unfolded the corner with some pliers and hammered the bends flat before mounting. The products is heavy gauge steel and has plenty of mount holes to ensure even weight distribution.

I was a little hesitant to order this item after reading that others had shipping damage but decided to purchase with the expectation that I might have to flatten the corners when it arrived. However, everything was fine. You can see in attached photo that the outer box was crushed in the upper corner but the unit itself was fine. I suspect that the manufacturer has improved the packaging since the others posted. The location of the holes now allows mounting on 16" centers, however the keyholes are actually further apart than that. To use 16" mounting you can only use one keyhole and one round hole. In my case I will be mounting this unit to a piece of 3/4" plywood so hole location isn't much of an issue. Guage of metal and quality of paint seem fine to me. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase another unit if my needs increase
