Great for a beginner or just-for-fun playing. Drums are very well packaged and worked well straight out of the box. Love the clear plastic to see the movement of the beads. Would be nice though if it also came with a cover to dampen the sound when wanted. Overall, a great deal. Would recommend.

I’ve had this tambourine for over 2 years and I don’t regret the buy at all. I’m a heavy tambourine player and it has kept fairly well. What I like most is that it’s lightweight, yet the little cymbals gives you get a nice, full jingle sound

I am very upset this is the 3rd tambourine that broke with in a month. I want a new one sent to me. I want all 3 tambourines replaced.

Pros: excellent concert style wooden tambourine with a 10” drum head. The tambourine arrived on time, as expected and packaged well. It was wrapped in a plastic bag in a nondescript box, within the Amazon shipping box.It looks exactly as pictured in the description. The shell is made of plywood with a spruce veneer and has smooth, clear varnish.The polyester drum head has a calfskin look and is glued on. I didn’t see any issues with the attachment or trim. Time will tell how long the glue holds and how much abuse it can take.The holding area is fine for my hands. I don’t have a problem gripping and holding the tambourine at 45 degrees. There is a mounting hole that is 16mm wide, centered in the holding area.The jingles are evenly spaced and make a nice bright sound and move freely. It performs exactly as I expect a tambourine to perform.Cons: Just a few minor quibbles that don’t affect performance. The trim is a little frayed at the seam. The seam is opposite the holding area, so it’s not likely to get worse. The wood was damaged at the insertion point of the pins for three jingles. Neither of these impact how the instrument sounds or plays, but it could impact durability long term.Conclusion: It’s a good basic tambourine they gets the job done.
