I received this product and tested it on some foam board. It worked very well creating an excellent bond. I was comparing it to gorilla glue and thought that it was a little bit too thick. In fact, when I used it, I could not get it to flow out of the nozzle. I had to remove the cap entirely and use a stick to remove some glue from the bottle and apply it. I decided to try to thin the glue and read online that acetone Might work. However, after putting in just a very small amount of acetone to try to get the glue to flow better, I found the bottle the next day completely solidified and exploded. So if youβre going to use this glue be prepared for issues with flow and definitely, definitely do not try to thin it with acetone ! Donβt know if I will purchase it again because of the flow issues.

Does same job as Gorilla glue at a fraction of the price.

First, the bottle comes half full, but the amount of glue in the bottle is exactly as advertised, 15.4 ounces. I'm assuming they add inert gas to the upper portion of the bottle to prevent it from air curing. This glue behaves and performs much like polyurethane Gorilla Glue, except that it is much quicker curing, a little more airy in texture, and not quite as strong.I preferred Akfix PA370 to Gorilla Glue when laminating wood sheets and working with large pieces, or edge gluing boards for a butcher block. On the other hand, if I were joining boards with rabbets or picture frame style corner angles, then I would recommend something with a little more strength like Gorilla Glue or regular wood glue.Akfix PA370 cures by a reaction with moisture in the air and in the material. Wood materials in your home or shop typically have a moisture level of 6 to 14 percent due to fluctuations in humidity, and that is ample to activate polyurethane glues. You can also wipe a lightly damp cloth on surfaces before gluing. Either way, the curing time is minutes and not hours like Gorilla Glue or wood glue.

This glue is comparable to Gorilla glue but sets up much quicker. The description says 19.75 fl oz but that is wrong. On the manufacturers website the product is labeled by weight not volume but they also tell to the density on the product data sheet. I bought a (2) pack, each bottle 500g which equals 15.38 oz per bottle when you do the math. That comes out to about $.65/oz before tax but still much cheaper than Gorrila glue which is almost $1.00/oz by me. The glue itself works great.

1st Reviewer Really liked the spread ability, drying process and design of labeling.Couldnβt wrap my head around what I got received a half full bottle and contacted them as I didnβt have a scale they offered another one and questioned how this mightβve happened to and said theyβd get a follow up on floor team sent me the other same result so I was told to weight it and cannot as I donβt have a scale my main concern is the sizing if 19 Oz then why the large bottle size and leave half full thatβs a waste of material to make baby bottles would be much better and very convenient.Below is the message sent on their sizing and reasoning for my issue. We truly apologize for the problem again. As you can see in the second product we sent you, since it is technically impossible for the product to be completely full, all products coming from the factory will be half full. You can fully believe that the weight of the product is correct, as we have already described. Sorry for the inconvenience. Best Regards, Akfix USA

I wanted a wood glue that was also waterproof. This is the glue that was suggested to me for my project. Oh my, it's like gorilla glue - but it doesn't tell you that! I put it on my project and it just grew and grew!!! Now I'm going to have to sand or chisel it down to make it smooth - then I'm worried that the integrity of glue will be compromised and it will NO LONGER BE WATERPROOF. What a waste of money. ALSO ... the bottle is ONLY 1/2 full when it comes. Why over package it?
