This chest mount is excellent in every way! The quality is outstanding, and it fits perfectly with my action camera. Clipping and unclipping the camera is super easy, making it very convenient for quick adjustments. The padded straps make it incredibly comfortable to wear, even during longer activities, and the adjustable design ensures a great wobble-free fit. I’ve used it for various outdoor activities, and it stays secure without any discomfort. This mount is a must-have for anyone looking to capture immersive footage while keeping their hands free!

Recently picked up this chest harness to use for reviewing motorcycles and hanging out onto the open road with my action cameras and phone mountsI have to say that the chest straps it themselves seem to work pretty well they get tied enough for wide enough to go on most people and fit over top of jackets or even just a T-shirt without a problem. My struggles itself is made of plastic and all of the mounts off the chest pretty far, without the security of holding your camera with a positive hold. They’re just too flimsy with these plastic mountsOverall, it’s OK, But I’m not sure I can trust my cameras to them. It’d be better if it was made of lightweight aluminum.

I have both this AKASO Quick Release Chest Mount Harness and the one that carries the brand name of thehero camera company. I notice very little difference between the two. Of course this review is for the AKASO harness. The overall size range of this product should work on most people. It has been worn by people up to 280 lb and 6' tall with room to spare so it should work well for even larger people. It sizes down small enough to be useful for almost anyone. The straps are elastic with no raveling of any threads and good stitching at the joints and seams. There is a pad on the back of the actual camera mount making it comfortable enough that I tend to forget I have it on when filming with this chest mount harness. The camera mount is the standard type and it also has a "twist to release" mechanism that allows you to quickly remove the camera and replace it with one hand. The twist to release locks into place very solidly and has a release button that must be depressed to allow it to twist and be removed. Everything feels quite sturdy and I haven't had the camera inadvertently separate from the harness yet while jumping bikes or riding Jet Skis with it. Overall the quality is pretty comparable to the branded one. This is a good accessory for action camera filming.

I also appreciate how adjustable it is, easily fitting different body sizes, which ensures a snug fit.The quick-release buckle is a great addition, making it easy to take on and off with just one click. It holds the camera securely, and the stability is good for capturing smooth, professional-looking footage during activities like hiking and pickleball.I’m giving it 4 stars because, while it works perfectly for most sports, the stabilization could be slightly better for more intense movements. However, it’s still a reliable and versatile mount that gets the job done!

The akaso chest mount is great to record POV videos. The material is a soft elastic that you can adjust based on size.

I was looking for something better than a helmet mount for my GoPro while skiing, and this chest mount harness turned out to be perfect. It’s adjustable and fits comfortably over my ski coat. The straps across the chest and waist are easy to adjust, and the camera snaps securely in the front. The build quality feels sturdy, and so far, I haven’t had any issues. The view is exactly what I wanted, giving me a lower, better perspective compared to my helmet mount. I’m excited to capture some great ski videos this season!

This mount fits my GoPro Hero11 correctly and is fairly adjustable. The plastic portion of the mount is a bit large but fit me comfortably anyway (I am female with curvy proportions). There are similar products at a slightly lower price point, but this one is completely adequate.
