The whole thing is made of rather light mid-quality plastic, but the screw on each joint is pretty solid and tightens well. As pictured here and also on Amazon page, Akaso protective case can easily attached to this stick (not sure if this fits any other cameras). My Akaso does not have any build-in screw for stick on the main body so the camera must be in this protective case (it's good to protect the camera though). When fully extended, the tri pod legs are not so long but it spreads fully and hold the camera fine on solid ground. You can adjust the 2 other joints to balance the stand. And again it's good to have the camera in the protective case just in case the stand falls. The tripod section can be screwed off and nicely stored in the handle bar (screw in to close) this is a clever idea/design. As a extendable stick that you hold in your hand, this works just fine. As a tall tripod, you need to adjust to balance it but it still works. A good starter stick.

I recently received a camera by the same company. I was happy to see that they made this accessory as I could be confident it would work well together. Which it does. It fits right on it with no problems and the camera to the mount is undeniably secure. That's where things kind of stop. The cost of the accessory should've been the sign of its quality. That is to not say it is bad. However, I suggest you spend the little bit extra and get something made of better materials if you can. The entire thing is made of plastic. The only metal pieces are the screw into the mounting plate that acts as a hinge and joins the stick to the camera and also the pins at the flex points. Everything is is a somewhat light weight plastic. Which, that is great if you are carrying a lot or will for a long period. It does sacrifice durability. The legs are screwed into the base piece. They screw in and out very easily. Turning it into a tripod is a bit scary. The legs are made of the same plastic. Though they are a bit flexible and felt unsure as I set the unit down. I extended the arm while sitting on the tripod and had to mess with it a bit to get it to stay stable. Once it was set. It did not move from my desk at almost full height.Again, it's an inexpensive accessory. It does it's job. I just don't think it's going to fair well under heavy use.

The AKASO Foldable Pole 3-Way Adjustable Selfie Stick for Action Cameras isn't all that bad for the price. It's all plastic, not the world's best plastic but good enough. The tripod screws into the bottom of the handle which is convenient. Effectively works as intended and would be a great cheaper alternative...

I wanted to get a little more extension for using my GoPro and decided to order this 3 way pole for it, and it works well enough, but overall has a very cheap feeling to it. The adjustment knobs work fine and it does extend to a nice length, as well as fold down very compact, but it is all plastic, so may not survive any hard impacts while in use on a trail or if you fall while using it. However, for just getting around town this is a very good extension arm and selfie stick for using with an action camera.

As far as selfie sticks go, this is very comfortable to hold and use. The foam makes sure your hand doesn't get tired or slip. It's adjustable so you have full control of the angles. It's foldable so it doesn't take up room. One clip and the camera is firmly attached. You can hold it like an extension stick, take selfies, etc. Also, I've taken it into water and it helps with the buoyancy, so it doesn't just sink to the bottom. A nice little tool to add to your kit.

keep in mind, this is a $10 trippod/stick. for that price, this is great. of course somethign that's way more expensive will have better overall fit and finish, but in a pinch, this works well.the texture is smooth enough, and the hinges are decent.for the price, this is a good purchase. if you can afford it, there are more expensive versions out there, but I won't fault this pole for that.

This selfie stick isn't a super durable and heavy duty stand. It feels lightweight and depending on what you're recording, like sport activities or adventures, it may not be good for THAT use. It is good for everyday use like taking pictures of light vlogging. It isn't bad and folds down nicely.

I didnt look close enough i thought this would work with a phone too but it's for a digital camera. It is OK and seems like it would be decent for using as a stand or selfie stick with a camera but I don't have one that fits it. The materials and construction don't seem expensive but it's decent.
