Not a bad idea to have a pack of these straps as extras if you work on cars a lot. I can't tell you how many cars I've worked on where I discovered the grounding straps were missing, cut, or broken during a sloppy engine change. This can cause all sorts of electrical gremlins, yet it's a frequently overlooked issue. Some people even add extra ground straps to their engines. These ones are nice and long and appear to be equivalent to OEM quality.
