This definitely makes cedar siding replacement easier. Takes a little learning curve to get a rhythm going, but once you do, the work becomes less labor intensive. Sturdy, this tool is made to last!

Not a cheap tool - which would have been fine if it worked. Unfortunately the head is very wide and could not fit it between nails - the few nails i could cut were difficult as nails tended to bend out halfway making them impossible to cleanly cut. Sadly doesn't work in all situations...

Well constructed...once piece construction which makes the difference between a slate ripper that would last and one that becomes a rusty pile of garbage.There is not much to a good slate ripper, but it is also easy to make a crappy one. This is a good one.

Worked great for my Cedar Siding job. I had the house insulated and the insulators broke several shingles in the process. Worked for pulling the nails. Watched several you-tube vids to get a little training and trade hints.

This product can be a very effective tool for removing individual sidewall cedar shingles. I'd have given it 5 stars if it had the following features: A narrower head would be helpful for removing staples. Plus, a shorter length would make removing shingles close to the ground a lot easier.All in all, I'd buy it again if I had another project of this type.
