I used this clock activity with 6 and 8 year olds. The 8 year olds loved the game, especially with the dice that came with it. The activity recommended that this was for ages 5 and up, but I think that 5 might be a little young because the puzzle with the alligator requires reading that may be challenging. The 6 year olds can use the game for learning the hour or half-hour on an analog clock. They really liked the game even if it was a little challenging. There's a really nice plastic clock in the package. There are three wooden dice to roll with for the hour and minutes (these were a big hit). There are dry erase cards to write the time down when using the dice. The cards can be used to draw the clock hands and write down the digital time. There is also an activity card which gives some ideas and advice on using the dice and plastic clock. This was a fun and educational math game.

This “telling time” activity is so engaging. With this activity, children have the opportunity to practice finding times on an analog clock, writing times digitally, and completing puzzles that combine different ways to show time.

Great quality pieces.Includes several different ways to practice telling time. The SNAIL CLOCK BOARD and the ORANGE BORDERED CARDS require a dry erase marker, which is NOT INCLUDED.Our son LOVES using these tools, it just feels like playing! And they are sturdy enough pieces that I'm sure the younger kids will be able to use them as well, when the "time" comes!

This is such a wonderful little kit for teaching children how to tell time! For some reason, I thought it was some type of game when I ordered it, but it's actually just a set of activities. My daughter was immediately interested in the alligator puzzle pieces and picked up on hour/half-hours very quickly. It definitely makes learning how to read clocks fun and interesting. All of the cards are thick and well made. If I had to make any complaints, it would be that it doesn't include a dry erase marker, which is needed for the flashcards/snail, but that really wasn't an issue for us since we already have plenty of them. Highly recommend!

I like this set. My daughter is 3 but I think it’s good to familiarize kids with concepts early on so their brains have time to think about it.A few times a week we go over the clock and match the time and discuss it. Just for 5-10 mins. She’s improving each time. She doesn’t read yet so the reading part she doesn’t do but the others she does.I think it’s a fun way to learn with hands on approach. She’s not a huge fan of crocodiles. I do wish it was a different animal. And I wish it came with a dry easer pen. We do have some but it would have been more convenient to open the box and have a pen to go with it.
