For anyone that was on the Payless website before coming here: their sizing is incorrect, it runs about a size and a half too small. We had a pair of 11.5 that were too small for my kid, but their sizing chart said they needed a size 11. I checked in with their support who was very adamant to follow their sizing chart (I was meticulous in using it, and am sure I made no mistake as after confirming it was done properly I tried on another child and myself.) Thankfully, I reached out to Amazon support who helped get it figured out.Ultimately, we should have gone up half a size but we needed new sneakers ASAP, and they'll help transition into the new size anyway (sensory kiddo).If like us, you were looking for something comparable to the old Champion shoes from before Payless closed, these are the closest we could find- it seems these are the same shoes with different branding. I nervous for the impending size up to 13 because the shoe changes.These are flexible. They're the only shoes my dude will wear. He calls them his running shoes. We tried a couple other brands and/or types and he hated them all. He didn't complain about these so I'm leaning towards my above statement being correct. Fingers crossed.
