This helmet is a decent budget option for airsoft and cosplay. It looks the part, and the cover and pads are a nice bonus. However, the plastic feels a bit flimsy, and I'm not sure how it would hold up to serious impacts. The chin strap is also a bit fiddly. Overall, it's okay for the price, but if you're looking for something super durable, you might want to spend a bit more.

really good helmet for people wanting the real look for their gear, protects your head well, easy to assemble, very lightweight and comfortable, top quality stuff. great for kids and smaller adults on sizing.

The shell on this helmet is incredibly thin. The cover has velcro attachments that the helmet does not, so 4 loose straps hang down that need tucked away. NVG shroud is metal and my knockoff rhino mount locks into it just fine, but I still wouldn't trust it based on the rest of the construction. If you need an airsoft helmet, I'd go fma. If you need a nods holder, get a shroud and drill it to a skate helmet.

This is a great little helmet. It arrived in good condition with great workmanship. No blemishes or flaws were found, and it was ready to assemble with all parts included. I do wish it had a knob on the back that adjusted for the size head, but it’s not a dealbreaker and it is definitely not worth deductions because the description never stated it. I’ve gotten quite speedy when prepping these helmets and in just a few minutes I had all the padding installed and was applying the net because this helmet came with everything needed, and the entire project matched the description perfectly, this helmet earns five stars.

Gave this to my 14 yo son as a Christmas gift. He and his friends are big into Airsoft, and he wanted to complete his load out. We were able to install the pads and fit the strap to his head in only a couple of minutes. He was thrilled with this and wore it most of the day until his grandparents came over for Christmas dinner. The included Multicam black cover matches the rest of his Multicam black gear perfectly.

This airsoft helmet is sturdy enough for paintball and cosplay. The large size fits comfortably due to the included buffer pads, which also provide an extra layer of protection. The tan color and design give it a serious tactical appearance. One downside is the helmet cover, which feels a bit flimsy and doesn't attach as securely as I would prefer. Overall, it's a decent choice for casual use in controlled environments, but it may not meet the demands of more intense training scenarios.

Are you looking for a helmet to take with you to an airsoft or paintball match? Or maybe a cosplay? Maybe of the quality that won't break your budget? If so, RunCam may have the Fast Helmet for you! The kit comes with the medium-sized (52-60 cm) helmet (pre applied velcro), the helmet cover, interior comfort pads, additional mounting items: (picatinny rail, NVG bracket, headphone clips, and harness replacement clips), and two glow in the dark velcro patches. It's all shipped in a nice-looking box.The helmet is thin (2.5 mm) making it extremely light (1.2 pounds). However, due to its thinness, it's a very flexible shell and risky for high-powered paintball/airsoft shots. Expect to feel the impacts through the helmet. As far as coverage, the helmet covers on a medium-sized head all the area a typical fast helmet covers. Pay attention to the 2 sizes (M and L)--if you have a large head, you will not fit the M helmet even at it's widest headband sizing. The harness is medium thickness nylon webbing. It's not scratchy, but pretty thin. The nice addition is the suede like insert sewn into the chinstrap. It makes wearing the helmet much more comfortable. The comfort pads are all the same size/shape, and the velcro inside the helmet is not spaced well around the hardware that holds the harness, so you just put all the pads in and let the helmet conform as much as it can to your head. The helmet cover isn't great, and is secured by only 4 straight velcro straps. You cannot get the straps to pull tight on all 4 straps due to how the cover is shaped. So either tight in front, loose in back, or vice-versa. The straps holding it to the helmet are also shared with the comfort pads, so you lose velcro for the pads by adding the cover. I wish the cover velcro was 2-sided to help with this issue. The mounting items are all soft plastic, and don't really hold to the rails and clips of the helmet. I like to think of these as good ideas, but made with tacti-cool in mind. Higher quality helmets would have better mounting gear. There are no instructions for them either, so if you're not familiar with how to kit out your gear, you'll be lost.Overall, if this kit is what you're looking for, go for it! It's average quality, but the price-point is affordable. I'd say this is better for cosplay than any tactical shooting game, but hey, you decide for yourself. I recommend!

This is a well made and sturdy helmet. The big problem is that there is a lot to assemble and ZERO instructions. For 60 dollars I believe instructions should be included as I have no idea how to assemble this helmet with specialized parts. The cover is very ill fitting and has long straps that do not fit the inside of the helmet.. Without instructions it is an expensive box of useless parts. Do not recommend.
