Keeps history of shots. Stores 6 bb weights. Can have continuous back light on or timed auto off. Very sturdy. The entry cup is aluminum to it can take abuse. Has threads in bottom for a tripod.

This is a great tool. It works well and is a must have if you modify your own airsoft guns. I believe this works on paintball guns as well I just haven't tried it yet. It is easy to use. The size of it is just right to be able to store in your gear bag. The display is nice and clear and this unit is worth the money. Its accurate. The speed on it seems to match the field chronographs.

The readings are Accurate, its more reliable than my Caldwell shoot over Chronograph. One must be careful if using an Air Rifle/Airgun or Rimfire weapon NOT to shoot the sides of the tube where the sensors read the passing projectile. Nor place the muzzle in the cup as the resulting gas blast will blow off the battery cap, blow the batteries OUT, and possibly (although it didn't damage mine) Damage the internals. However if you're careful, and give it an Inch of space between muzzle and chrono tube it'll perform GREAT.I love that it will display up to a 90shot string, (your string info is gone once the unit is turned off. The settings menu is Intuitive and very easy to figure out. The customization of projectile settings is Simple and adjustable by the smallest increment.. ( i have my projectile weight match the pellets exactly 25.39gr converted to grams is 1.64grams it will save SEVERAL projectile profiles so it can display proper Energy readings. 865 at 1.645gr is 42FPE for example. . The thing just works , the price makes it a great affordable choice if you're only looking to tune your airgun or find a good subsonic or sub 1200FPS velocity Load on a rimfire or Subsonic loads for a suppressed centerfire PCC or Rifle, although i would NOT use a C/F powderburner without a supressor or SIGNIFICANT blast mitigation to shield the chrono unit.

This thing isn’t made super tough. But it reads every time. I chronied big bore pcp through it. Reads so dang good glad I had a little tripod from different chrony I bought off here that didn’t work not this brand

I think it’s really cool, maybe not as fancy as the higher end ones but this is perfect, I would say the only thing I nag about it is the low quality buttons and the aluminum threaded bore cap, not sure if it’s aluminum at all but it’s pretty cheap, I got a few bbs (6mm plastic) to streak the cap and it seemed to have left a dent, I guess try not to shoot it and you’ll be okay in the long term, but not entirely practical.

Truth be told, I am using this for high power PCP air rifles. It is an indispensible piece of equipment that I can't do without. Seeming works well. Just be really careful so you don't bang lead into the sides of the aluminum tube running through the heart of the unit!I have measured velocities up to 1600fps with it. Was quite impressed.I have two minor issues worth mentioning. First, found that this unit does not like the cold. I have trouble getting readings when the temps are much below 50 deg outside. It only works for a few minutes at 40 degrees. The display still shows like it works, but somehow fails to read anything passing through. Will have to investigate this further. Could be the batteries weakening in the cold and going below minimum voltage? Second issue, and kind of a funny one at that...the puff of air from larger caliber weapons actually goes through the holes for the optical sensors and BLOWS THE BATTERIES OUT OF THE COMPARTMENT! A screw on the battery door would be an improvement for a model refresh. This one has the springy tongue on the door that pops open.Other than those two things, I like the unit. Works well for me. Just BE CAREFUL if you shoot lead instead of the plastic it is really meant for.
