Fragrances For Candle Making, Soap Making And Other Crafts
Whether your crafting specialty involves candle making, soap making, diffuser oils, freshie scents, laundry oils, sugar scrubs, lotions, slime scents, perfume oils, bath and body formulations, dryer balls, or any other DIY project, you know full well that an appealing, high-quality fragrance oil is a key ingredient to any crafting success. While our AirScent fragrances are primarily designed for use in water-based and waterless diffusers, they are manufactured in accordance with RIFM standards for safe use in most fragranced products and applications. Specifically, this means they have not been officially tested for use in candles, soaps, or other crafts, and while we cannot assure results or accept responsibility if they do not work as expected, users may choose to experiment at their own discretion.
General Notes:
- Always perform a small test batch when using in new crafts to check for compatibility, scent throw, and any adverse reactions with materials.
- Adjust quantities based on personal scent preference and the specific requirements of your project or diffuser.
- Store fragrance oils in a cool, dark place when not in use to preserve quality.

Candle Making Scents
- Use fragrance oil at a rate of 6-10% of the total wax weight (e.g., for 500g wax, use 30-50g of fragrance oil).
- Add the fragrance to the wax once it has cooled to around 60-65°C (140-149°F) to prevent the scent from degrading.
- Stir gently but thoroughly to ensure even distribution. Pour into molds when ready.
Soap Making Scents
- For cold process soap, add fragrance oil at light trace, using 0.75-1.5 oz per pound of soap base. Test for fragrance stability and color change in a small batch first.
- For melt and pour soap, add fragrance after the base has melted but before it cools too much (around 55-60°C or 130-140°F), at about 0.5-1 oz per pound of soap.
- Stir well to avoid pockets of oil and pour into molds.
Colognes and Perfumes
- High Concentration: Our fragrance oils are potent, undiluted, and ideal for perfume creation. Each bottle contains a rich blend that can be directly used in crafting colognes and perfumes for a balanced, long-lasting aroma.
- Versatile Use in Perfume Making: Whether you're a beginner or an experienced perfumer, this fragrance oil allows you to create custom perfumes and colognes. Mix at a ratio of 80% fragrance oil with 20% perfume grade alcohol to achieve professional results, ensuring your creations are both potent and sophisticated.
Fragrances For Other Crafts
- Potpourri or Sachets: Apply a few drops directly onto dried materials or mix with a carrier like Epsom salt for even distribution.
- Bath Bombs: Use 1-2% of the total weight of dry ingredients. Blend with wet ingredients before combining with dry.
- Room Sprays: Mix 1 part fragrance oil with 10 parts water or alcohol in a spray bottle. Shake well before each use.

This is great! The smell is just right, not too strong. I added 20 drops to a diffuser, could even do 10. Seems really affordable, but we'll see how long the diffuser runs for. We have a large home with an open floor plan and it works great in the main space. I'm thinking of adding another one on the other side of the house so the scent is seamless throughout.

Not that I have ever actually stayed at the Ritz, so I cannot confirm the validity of the smell, but a girl can dream.It is a nice clean smell. The cold throw is a bit of a warm citrus mixed with some fancy soap. I am using it in my waterless diffuser so I am not sure if the heat throw is different.It comes in a glass bottle in a black tube.I look forward to trying the other scents offered by this brand, but I love that my bathroom smells like the ritz.

You won’t regret buying this! I purchased the smallest bottle to test it out and immediately purchased the largest bottle after smelling it. It smells so amazing. I honestly want to use it as a perfume as well lol.

As soon as people walk into my house they mention how good it smells and ask me what it is. I have two dogs and two birds so I keep my diffuser up high on top of the cabinets just in case for their respiratory systems. But it hasn’t bothered any of them and if there’s a problem to be had my phone English bull dog will have it. I have my diffuser running on 24 hours for 30 seconds every 120 seconds intervals and after a a week solid of using this I barely notice any is gone out of the bottle. So I’m thinking this is going to last a good while, which is great because it’s not cheap. I purchased the 500 ml bottle and I even though it’s a little pricey I’d say it’s worth it for how long it should last in a waterless/cold air diffuser. I also put a few drops in my vacuum and in my rain mates. I will definitely be ordering from this company again.

I had the luxury of staying at a Ritz Carlton once, about 15 yrs ago and what stuck with me, besides the attentiveness and customer service of the staff (I was a total fish out of water) was the scent throughout the hotel and their signature scent of Purple Water by Asprey. It is one of the nicest line of products with a crisp, clean, light, scent.This is very reminiscent of the hotel and that line. It invokes luxury and appreciation. This will lift your spirits for sure! If you can’t afford the real deal then this is a close second. Make your home smell like luxury!

The fragrance is soft and pleasant, with a fresh, clean scent that reminds me of a high-end hotel lobby. It's perfect for creating a calm, welcoming environment in my living room or bedroom.The 10 mL bottle is just the right size, and the dropper cap makes it easy to control how much oil I use. I like that it works well in both diffusers and humidifiers, making it versatile. The oil is high quality, and it blends well with my diffuser, giving off a subtle but soothing fragrance.However, I did notice that the scent doesn't fill the room as strongly as I'd hoped, even when I use several drops. While it’s definitely there, I’d prefer a bit more intensity, especially for larger spaces. For smaller rooms or for a light, ambient scent, it works perfectly, but I think it could benefit from a stronger fragrance.Overall, I still really enjoy this product for the relaxing atmosphere it creates. If you love a more subtle scent, this will be a great choice for you. I would have given it 5 stars if the fragrance had a bit more strength.

Let me tell you somethin’ this Hotel Diffuser Oil inspired by The Ritz Carlton is that real deal luxury in a bottle. A little goes a long way and if you got a diffuser, oh honey, you’re about to have your whole house smellin’ like five-star elegance. Now I tried it in a humidifier too (had to see for myself) but trust me the diffuser is where the magic happens.And when you wanna do a lil’ somethin’ extra? Rub some on your hands, glide it over your furniture and just watch how your guests stop mid-conversation wonderin’ why your home smells like a high end getaway. They’ll think they walked straight into a vacation. If you want your space to feel rich, inviting and unforgettable, this is what you need! Honestly only took a star off because it doesn't last long as others.

You MUST buy this! LOL...you will not regret it! I bought the 1 oz version and fell in love with it and my hubby likes it too! I loved it so much I went back and purchased the 4 oz version. The smell has a rich blend of citrus notes and some deeper tones of musk but not too much. I am not a fan of musk but I absolutely love this! I have gotten so many compliments when people walk in my house. I actually purchased 2 16 oz amber glass spray bottles off amazon as well because I wanted to mist this and leather essential oil on the filter in my hvac unit. It makes every room of my home smell amazing for days!! Do not hesitate to buy this! It is actually very economical because a little goes a long way!
