My daughter loves air hockey and I thought this at-home version would provide some fun and maybe even a little exercise. It turned out pretty well, but there are a few considerations.As others have mentioned, the suction cups do not work. Neither the goal ones nor the elastic boundary corners. I was using them on a smooth tile floor, which shouldn't have caused any issues, but did not try it on something like glass.Besides the suction cups and elastic boundary, the other parts work fine. The puck hovers well over our tile floor, and over our table. The plastic hitters are comfortable to use and seem just like the ones at a real air hockey table. We ended up creating boundaries/walls with some low cushions. The kids had to sit on the goals a bit to keep them from scooting all over the place, but they made it work.The puck charged with no issues and the kids got several games out of the charge. It does have a "pin" type connection so we'd better not lose the charging cord--I would have preferred USB C since it's much more common.Overall, they had a pretty good time playing with it, after an initial bout of frustration with the suction cups. They also said it was a medium workout. So, I think we'll get some use out of this, I just wish the whole thing worked the way it's supposed to.

I have always loved air hockey games in the arcade, it is both frustrating and fulfilling at the same time. Simple set up lets you play this on your favorite table top in your home. The elastic rope creates all kind of bounce opportunities from the puck as it bounces off the sidewall elastic band. The set comes with 2 nets plus the elastic band for the perimeter and 2 pushers and one air gliding puck. Excellent gift idea for sure.

My review of this item is complicated. Put it this way, when it works, it's awesome. Last night my 6 year old grandson and I played for hours, and he was giggling and squealing the whole time. The puck is great, the hand held thingys are fine, and the string system actually works--with a lot of tweaking. It's actually kind of amazing to me that such a simple string system can be used to create an air hockey table. As long as I remember to charge the puck, I foresee a lot more play in the future.Here, however, are the cons:- The nets are terrible. The suction cups are very small and won't hold for more than a minute or two on any surface. For most of our play, we kept having to straighten/move the nets after every score.- The suction cups for the strings are not great. The company has clearly attempted to solve this problem by including stick-on squares that you apply to the table first and then press the suction cups down on that. While that is a wonderful idea and would probably solve the problem, nowhere does it tell you whether those squares are removable! I'm not about to ruin a good table just to make it work better for air hockey. So I'm not using them until I find out if they're permanent or not. I assume they are, looking at the type of stickiness they have. That's very frustrating.- While the string system works great, it's by no means perfect. The puck flies over or under the string a LOT when you play. Fortunately, despite flying across the room a number of times so far, the puck still works, so at least it's tough. But having to retrieve that puck over and over is not fun. Tightening the strings helps, but they are in no way foolproof.Nowhere does this set tell you what size surface you should be playing on, and that really bugged me at first until I realized that the string is completely adjustable with a pinch-and-slide clip for holding it in place. That's a good thing, because when you first set it up, you have to keep tugging and pulling the string to get it tight enough so that the puck doesn't slip through. Again, it still manages to slip through anyway, but the tighter the string, the less that happens. Unfortunately, the tighter the string, the more likely the suction cups are to pull loose from the surface, so it's a real lose-lose situation.And yet...and yet it is SO MUCH FUN to play. So despite all of the above, I'm giving it 4 stars. If the company could also include information about these sticky squares that are intended to help with the suction cup problem, and if it turns out they are removable after play, then I might even revise this to 5 stars. Either way, this is definitely cheaper than buying an air hockey table, and, like I said, when it works, it's awesome.

Product as described and great for family activities. We used the counter top to play the air hockey after dinner. My kids love it and we had fun. It’s recommended to have a separate table with smooth surface for the game though.

Does feel a little cheap. But easy to put together and the kids love it. I’m happy it’s a table top and come with all the necessary tools. Very functional and an age can use this one. Probably recommend 6 and up.

I got this Air-Powered Hockey Game for my daughter, since she loves the air hockey table at the trampoline park, but the cost of playing there is too much for daily visits. This game has worked out great as a home alternative!Instead of using the rope, I just removed some foam cushions from the floor to create the boundaries, and it works perfectly. The air-powered puck creates unpredictable bounces, making the game really exciting and fun for her. She loves playing it, and it’s a much more affordable option for her to enjoy daily!
