First time user of paints. Really liked them, big bottle of thinner also. Comes with a lot of different paint, I kinda ordered it without looking just based on the high amount of different kinds it has. Has some paint colors you may not use but that goes with put saying. Can't really go too wrong with this as really you could get away with a small amount of colors. Big bottle of thinner. Would recommend

Well kudos to the seller as it looks like a really good paint kit and after opening the box and I was excited to try them but I have not used or opened any bottles yet. Ordered this paint set along with 1 other item, an inline air dryer for my old little air compressor. Clipped the 20% off coupon for this paint set when I added it to my cart but I did not get the 20% off upon checkout. Called Amazon support and best they could do is give me a sold and shipped by amazon account credit. Not a darn thing in my wish lists is a sold and shipped by Amazon item! Going to return this paint set and start over. Sad .. I was really looking forward to using my new dual action airbrush kit and this new paint set on Sunday to paint a model steam engine that has taken me a few months to manufacture along with a few 3D printed kit cards as gifts for my friends. I'm retired now. I have not airbrushed a thing in over 30 years. I guess this is just a bump in my artistic road.

These are cool if you are getting into the hobby or are doing small little modeling projects. The bottles are very small so if you are an artist the paint will not last. The choice of colors is superior and they spray pretty well. They cleaned up pretty simply when I used it. I thin my paint out so it's not so thick. It worked well on my airbrush and was very easy to pour. This a great gift for any airbrush artist because of the choice of colors.

Most paints all over the box. When I put them all back in their spots 1 bottle was missing.

The X ARTY HUB Airbrush Paint Set is absolutely incredible! With 42 vibrant colors, including iridescent, neon, and metallic options, this set has everything you need to unleash your creativity. The water-based paints are ready to spray right out of the bottle, making them super convenient for beginners and professionals alike. The included thinner is a nice touch and helps achieve the perfect consistency when needed. The colors are rich, highly pigmented, and flow smoothly through my airbrush without clogging. The variety in this set makes it ideal for experimenting with different effects, and the results are always stunning.I highly recommend this set to anyone looking to explore or enhance their airbrushing skills. It’s an excellent value for the quality and variety of paints included. A must-have for artists! 🎨✨

Muy buenos colores muy pigmentados, me hubiese gustado que fueran mas grande los frascos que contienen la pintura, 24 colores variados, en general estoy satisfecho con la compra.

This set of 42 colours plus thinner would be good for airbrush painters just starting out, but you will still need to know some basic airbrush and paint theory to get these paints to spray well, particularly if you have a cheap airbrush.I got somewhat mixed results when I run these paints through different airbrushes. It is not necessarily the paint that is the issue, but the airbrush quality. For example, on my Iwata Neo airbrush, I can spray these paints perfectly fine straight out of the bottle on about 22 PSI and get good results. If I use my el-cheapo airbrush with similar size nozzle, I need to thin the paints and adjust the air pressure to get the same result. So, depending on your airbrush, you may need to tinker with settings if you want to use these paints straight out of the bottle, or just learn how to thin your paints to the consistency that your particular airbrush can spray them well. The colour array included is good to get you started, but you will likely quickly find you use certain colours all the time, and others not so much, or hardly ever. As such, this low priced set might be an inexpensive way to test the waters of your airbrush painting use, and quickly figure out which colour paints you use most often. Unfortunately it appears you cannot buy these brand paints individually in bottles or colours, so you would need to buy another brand to replace any colours you use up completely. Also, the colours in the set may not necessarily be the colours you need for your project. If you are painting 3D prints of characters, persons or gaming miniatures for example, you will find you need colours that there is nothing close to in this set. There are no skin tone colours, no real true earthy type colours and no washes (unless you thin down the paints even more and apply by brush (which you can do with this set if needed). You could mix colours if your colour chart knowledge is exceptional, but for most beginners, you just want to grab the bottle of colour that is a close match and start spraying. The caps on these bottles are not my favourite style (twist type) but you don't lose them easily either. They can accumulate paint on or around them if you dont properly wipe them off after each use, and this could introduce hardened paint particles into your airbrush which could wreak havoc, but I haven't had that issue so far. Each bottle has a removable aluminium foil cap to prevent leakage during transit and this worked well. You will need to shake these paints up well before use. While the consistency is thin, the pigment does separate over time. If you have stainless steel ball bearings on hand, drop one in each colour before you shake them up to aid in mixing, but beware that these can also block paint flow into the nozzle as well. If you have a vortex mixer on hand, this will handle the mixing easily.Depending on how much you need to thin your paints, the 120ml of included thinner may not be enough, but if you run out, you can use distilled water as a substitute as these are water based acrylic paints. The neon, iridescent and metallic paints are a nice addition and spray well. Just be aware that metallic and iridescent paints may look much different (and better or worse) depending on what primer colour you use underneath. This set does not include any primer, and I would recommend getting a bottle of quality airbrush primer (or use a rattle can) on your 3D prints before spraying these paints. If you are spraying onto canvas or paper or other materials, you may not need primer at all.Overall this is a good starter set to grab at low cost if you want to explore airbrush painting without spending a fortune on paint, but as I mentioned, you will need to go out and buy replacement colours from another brand when you run out.

This airbrush set is correctly aimed at the beginner artist.Things I liked…..The product description has accurate photos and you can see my swatch page (using a brush) to see how close they are. The pack comes with enough of a variety of colours and textures. Note the main colours are quite matte. The bottles are sturdy and almost impossible to splodge out paint and all but one closed air tight. I can see little or young hands having a bit of trouble using the drip tops. The paints come in a plastic tray which is really handy to store them or even to hold them neatly while you are using them. The paint bottles have some ingredient information but no actual pigment numbers.Things I didn't like. The bottles have a small seal under the top that was frustratingly difficult to remove. There is also a small polystyrene washer that helps keep the bottles airtight when closed. This washer can be easily lost resulting in dried out paint. The paint pigment and consistency is a bit wayward and you will need to manage the viscosity of each colour. (The thinner included will help). The included and bottle instructions say to shake before use….. this can be messy with this type of bottle nozzle which have a tendency to clog and not close properly. All up not a bad beginners kit.
