These pressure switches fit perfectly, seem to be pretty well made, installed easily, and are working exactly like they're supposed to. I gotta say, this is the kind of thing where you're happiest when you can forget it even exists. These are doing their job, so I'm super happy!

The Air Pressure Switch, 90-120 PSI 1/4"-18 NPT Pressure Switch DC 24V 12V for Air Train Horn is designed for use in air compressors, specifically for regulating the air pressure in systems such as train horns, air suspension systems, or other pneumatic applications. The 2-pack provides a dual set of switches that are ideal for replacing faulty switches or for use in custom installations where multiple switches are needed. Here's a detailed review based on its features and performance:Pros:Accurate Pressure Range (90-120 PSI): This pressure switch operates within the 90-120 PSI range, which is typical for air compressors used in train horns or similar pneumatic systems. This range ensures that the air compressor is activated when the pressure falls below 90 PSI and shuts off once it reaches 120 PSI, maintaining a stable pressure system. It is a suitable range for air horns, train horns, or smaller air compressors.Durable and Reliable: The pressure switch is designed to provide reliable operation over an extended period. The 1/4"-18 NPT threaded connection ensures a secure fit and easy installation in most air compressor systems. The switch is built with durable components that can withstand pressure cycling, vibration, and the wear and tear associated with pneumatic systems.Wide Voltage Compatibility (DC 24V/12V): This pressure switch is compatible with both 12V and 24V DC systems, which makes it versatile for different applications. Whether you are installing it in a vehicle's air horn system or a train horn, the switch will work well with the electrical setup you have.Efficient Control for Air Horns: The switch is specifically designed to control the air pressure in train horn systems or similar high-pressure air horns. It ensures that the compressor runs only when needed, preventing over-pressurization and ensuring the air system stays within optimal operating conditions for consistent horn performance.Easy Installation: With a standard 1/4"-18 NPT thread size, the switch is easy to install and compatible with most air compressors, making it suitable for DIY projects or professional installations. The two-pack is a great feature if you're working on multiple installations or need a spare switch.Affordable and Value for Money: For the price of a 2-pack, this product offers great value, especially for those needing a replacement pressure switch for their air compressors or pneumatic systems. Given its quality and the fact that it comes in a pack of two, it is a cost-effective solution for maintaining or upgrading your air compressor system.Cons:Limited to 90-120 PSI Range: While the 90-120 PSI range is ideal for air horns and general applications, it may not be suitable for systems that require different pressure settings. If you need a pressure switch with a higher or lower PSI range for a more specific application, you may need to look for switches that offer more flexibility in pressure settings.Basic Design: The design of the switch is fairly basic with no advanced features or adjustments. It performs its intended function well but lacks additional customization options, such as adjustable pressure settings or more complex features found in higher-end models.Durability Concerns in Extreme Conditions: While the switch is durable for normal use, some users have reported that pressure switches in general can wear out over time, especially when used in harsh outdoor environments where vibration, moisture, and dust can affect performance. It’s important to ensure that the switch is installed properly and protected from these elements if used in challenging conditions. Not for Heavy-Duty Systems: If you're working with a larger, industrial-grade air compressor or a system that requires handling higher volumes of air or more significant pressure ranges, this pressure switch may not be robust enough for those applications. It is designed more for smaller to medium-sized systems like train horns or automotive air systems.Lack of Instructions: Some users have mentioned that the pressure switch does not come with clear installation instructions. For someone who is unfamiliar with how to install or use a pressure switch, this might be a minor inconvenience. However, with standard installation processes, this should be a relatively easy setup for those with experience.Overall Verdict:The Air Pressure Switch 90-120 PSI (2 Pack) is an excellent and cost-effective option for regulating air pressure in systems like train horns, air compressors, and pneumatic applications. It’s a solid choice for DIY enthusiasts, car owners, and LARP enthusiasts looking to maintain or improve their air systems with an affordable, reliable component. The durable construction, wide voltage compatibility (12V/24V DC), and easy installation make it a great solution for most air compressor and pneumatic needs. However, the pressure switch is most suitable for systems that operate within the 90-120 PSI range, so it may not be ideal for more demanding, industrial-level applications that require different pressure settings. Additionally, it is a basic model with no extra features, which is suitable for most but may not meet the needs of users requiring specialized functions.Overall, this product provides excellent value for the money, especially for those needing replacement switches or who are setting up air systems for the first time. If you're working with an air compressor system like train horns, this pressure switch is a reliable, affordable option to keep your system running smoothly.

These kick on at exactly 90psi and off at 120psi, I use these to operate a solenoid turning my output pressure off at 120psi for automatic unattended filling of customers air tanks. (not exactly their intended use but well within their perimeters) would recommend

These pressure switches work just as expected. They cut off the signal right at 120psi according to my gauge, and then turn back on around 85psi, which is close enough for me to not complain. The threads are accurate 1/4" NPT and I didn't notice any burrs or have any trouble installing them. For a little over 10 bucks for a two pack, I'd say this is a good price.
