This thing feels solid in hand and doesn’t leak a drop. It’s smooth to use, even when dealing with thicker fluids like gear oil. No fuss, no mess, just pull the trigger and go. Definitely makes oil changes a whole lot easier.Built tough, so it should last a long time. The grip feels nice, even after a long job, and nothing about it feels cheap. If you’re handling oil or antifreeze regularly, this is worth having.

The hose connects to a half-inch national pipe thread female fitting. It does not swivel. The adapter sent with it does not help. The end which dispenses the oil has a twist fitting to shut it off. When you open it enough for it to actually deliver oil, it unscrewed completely and the spring comes shooting out, and it makes a big mess. With it put back together and adjusted to allow oil to flow, it barely delivers any. I just took that and apart, and removed the anti-drip apparatus and put a rag over the end of it when I'm not using it. I bought this to replace a 30-year-old Graco which I have been using with my Graco air operated oil pump to pump 90 weight gear oil from the keg into transmissions and differentials. I have seven other "guns" throughout my shop which I used to dispense bulk automatic transmission fluid, different grades of engine oil, Gas, etc. So this ain't my first rodeo with an oil dispensing gun. After these modifications, it works just fine. And for the limited amount of use that it gets these days due to less and less requirements for GL5 gear oil, it'll be just fine.

This is a pretty rugged oil dispenser that connects directly to my shop's oil pump system. This replaces my old dispenser and all the fittings and flow meter transfers directly over. So this dispenser has all the standard fittings. The fittings are all stainless steel and thread on smoothly without leaks. The trigger is a bit gritty, but i think that will break-in over time. This works like my old dispenser so I have no complaints.
