Product Description

AIR LIFT Load Controller II On Board Air Compressor System includes compressor and gauge wiring harness. It features low pressure sensor which automatically activates the compressor. This system inflates two air springs at the same time and facilitates easy installation.

From the Manufacturer

The LoadController II is an economically priced, popular on board air compressor system. It inflates, maintains and controls air springs on light-to-medium duty vehicles for maximum convenience and leveling on-the-go. The versatile compressor system makes it easy to adjust your air spring pressure for changes in load or road conditions. This is Air Lift's most popular compressor and air control system for trucks, vans, and SUVs. All kits include Air Lift's exclusive wiring harness for fast, easy installation. For increased safety and to eliminate the major cause of air spring failure, the Low Pressure Sensor automatically activates the compressor if air spring pressure falls below the minimum safe level.

This listing is for the single path system, kit number 25592.

Air Lift on board air systems are the most advanced in the industry and work with all brands of air springs.

Do I Need Single or Dual Path Control?
Purchase a single path/sensor model if you want to level your load evenly (to raise or lower the front or rear end of your vehicle). Two springs will inflate at the same rate at the same time.

Purchase a dual path/sensor model (kit number 25812) for uneven loads that need adjustment from one side of the vehicle to the other or for more advanced leveling capability. You can either control two air springs independently (for side-to-side leveling) or you can split the line to control a full set of four air springs, two at a time (side-to-side or front-to-rear).

If you're still in need of air helper springs, be sure to consider the many different air spring options Air Lift offers. With a lifetime warranty, the easiest installations, and best-in-class customer service, it's easy to see why Air Lift air helper springs are America's favorite.

Best Warranty in the Business
Air Lift Company warrants that the LoadController II on board air compressor system will be free from defects in workmanship or materials for two years on the vehicle of original installation. This does not include installation or other service charges for replacement.

Simple installation. Allows to air up air bags as the pressure drops with weight and time.

Excellent addition to the AirLift airbag system. Initially I felt a bumper mounted inflater/deflater valve would suffice but now really appreciate being able to adjust the air pressure on the go when pulling my 5th wheel. Decent instructions and parts are well prepped. Only issue was tapping into the fuse panel - I found the parts they provided don't work with the mini/micro fuse so I purchased a piggyback fuses from an auto parts store and was able to complete the installation.

It's a little pump so doesn't pump fast but it works good, I have 2x 3 bellow air bags so they take lots of air.

Absolutely perfect. First box was missing parts but great customer service. Sent that one back. Got another. My friend installed it but said it was easy peezy. A great kit. Compressor is in thr very back under the back seat. Control panel is in an unused cubby in the dash like its supposed to be there. Now to test it in the real world!

This is a great kit and a whole lot more convenient than having to manually add air to the bags. I would have given it 5 stars. However my gauge showed up with a crack in the glass. Doesnt effect its operation. But kind of disappointing and don't want to deal with a return replacement. The switch and its mounting is the lowest grade garbage they could have used. I mean for the price it sure could have been better quality. Electrical connections they send with are also low grade trash. I replaced them all with solder and heat shrink. But get past the cheapness of the trinkets and the system does as it should. I ran it up to 100psi and it holds firm. The sensor to maintain 5psi works well. So overall if they would do better with the cheap switch and electrical connectors it would be a full on 5 star thumbs up.

Installed on a 2010 GMC 2500HD. Installed full kit along with Air Lift on board compressor and gauges. To start of with this seems to be a great product. Just installed it today. This is a long review but hopefully it will help the next person. Do not try to install this if you are a beginner DIY mechanic. I am by no means a professional but I have installed 100's of snow plows, spreaders, and de-icer systems so I do have plenty of experience with after market accessories. I would try this unless you're at least an intermediate mechanic, even if just for the necessary tools. All in all I probably had about 7 hours in the install (alone) but a good 1.5hr was just figuring out where I wanted to mount the compressor, gauges, and solenoid. I did the full kit with on board compressor. The kit came very well packaged in manufacturers boxing, all the hoses, hardware, pieces where there and packaged separately. I strongly suggest reading the instructions thoroughly a couple times before starting. They skip around a bit and have important notes but are not in order. Some of the instructions say to use a torque wrench which first of all most DIY guys dont even have. Unless it's just this kit, you will not be able to get a torque wrench on the upper bolts as it says to. Take your time and plan your install. You will need jack stands and a good jack. The instructions say to support the axel with jack stands which is incorrect. You'll want to support the frame with jack stands so you can use the jack to move the rear end up and down to accommodate installation.Do not mount the compressor under the hood. The heat will shorten the life. I had to call to ask where their suggested placement was cause it's not in the instructions and ended up mounting in on the inside of the frame out of any wheel splash areas. They actually answered the phone on a Saturday at 10a.With the airlines, btw not 1 leak after installed, take your time with your cuts. Make sure they are very cleanly cut and not beveled edges. I made sure my cuts were perfect and left plenty of slack not only for movement but incase I had to re-cut. I used a sharp razor. When you push them into the fitting you'll feel a slight pop, you need to push them in farther to seat the airline. This is probably where most people have air issues. They will slightly pop and then slide in an additional 1/8 to 1/4 inch. Practice before you try under the truck, the are easy to remove my pushing the pressure fitting in and pulling the hose back out.The compressor works great up to about 50lbs then it does slow down a bit but what would you expect from a tankless system under $200. Pumped up to 90lbs for test in about 3 or 4 minutes. When installing the wiring you will want a couple "add a fuse" kits to tie in to the fuse panels. Most parts stores have them for about $7. They are not in the kit.Last but not least I used the extra unions and 1 that I bought to run a single manual line to the rear bumber just incase the compressor goes out towing or just to keep a safe pressure in them for driving.Hope this helps a little.

Good product for the price, makes my life a lot easier when i need to adjust the pressure in my bags. My Only concern is with the "T" connectors provided with the kit. They are VERY cheap plastic things and not one of them worked. Save yourself some time and go buy good ones before doing the install. After I got good T's the install was straight forward and everything works great.Overall, very happy with the unit has been working good for about a week now.

When I purchased the Air Lift 60818 rear air spring kit for my 2010 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4WD, I also purchased the Air Lift 25592 Load Controller II kit. I'm glad I did. It took about 3 hours to install, but I took my time to plan out where things went. I initially wanted to mount the compressor under the hood, but Air Lift doesn't recommend that location due the the high heat. I didn't want to mount it under the floor, as MN winters would kill it real quick. I mounted the compressor in the left storage compartment under the rear seat. There is a plastic body plug under the carpet in a great spot to run the air line out and under the floor for the air bags and a gap between the floor and riser for the seat to run the wiring and air line to the gauge panel. The carpeting and seat do a pretty good job of deadening the sound when the compressor runs, too. you can hear it, but it's not obnoxious.I mounted the gauge panel under the driver's seat temporarily, until I decide if I'll get a gauge pillar pod to mount the gauge. The control panel is a bit 'old-school' in appearance, and doesn't lend itself to dash mounting in our newer trucks, as there are no level areas on the dash that would be appropriate and allow you to see the gauge. A small, rectangular digital gauge would look much cleaner, and that's what I may do. As it is, under the driver's seat is unobtrusive, and relatively easy to reach, just can't read the gauge unless you are out of the truck. It also allowed me to run the lines and wiring under the sill plate trim for a clean look. The kit came with enough line and fittings for me to do a neat install. The Festo push-lock air fittings are great and make the install easy and professional looking! I use them all the time in my work and have never had one fail. Air Lift is a little too 'economical' with the tie-wraps though, I ended up using a couple dozen to make sure the lines are out of the way of any heat or sharp edges. Same with the wiring to the power distribution box under the hood. They could have provided longer wire for the power, but this kit was designed when the fuse blocks were under the dash, not under the hood like most are today.Overall I am quite pleased with my purchase. It arrived very quickly (thanks Amazon) and well packaged.
