SlamAir
Lowering a truck reduces suspension travel and load carrying capacity. Adding SlamAir helper springs solves these problems economically by restoring load carrying capacity and eliminating bottoming out. SlamAir helper springs supplement the lowered truck's leaf springs to provide adjustable spring rate for ride comfort, safety and variable loads. For even more convenience, add a driver-controlled compressor system and raise the rear on-the-fly for speed bumps or sloped driveways. SlamAir systems are available for most lowered trucks with a 2 inch to 6 inch drop, including trucks with flipped axles and notched frames. They are air adjustable from 5 to 100 PSI and come with quick connecting, easy-to-use air fittings. All kits are engineered to be easy to install and come with Air Lift's exclusive alignment tool and a fully illustrated instruction manual.

Why Air?
Factory suspensions must compromise between ride comfort and load hauling capacity. Soft factory suspensions can't carry heavy loads, and heavy steel springs ride rough, especially when the vehicle is unloaded. Only air springs can support your heavy loads and provide a great ride. Air Lift adjustable air springs solve these common problems by allowing you to tune your suspension under all load and road conditions. Just add air when towing or hauling and then remove air for a softer ride when unloaded.

Eliminate these common load and towing problems for good when you use Air Lift air springs:

Sag – Proper weight distribution to all tires improves steering, braking and tire wear. This is especially important while towing: adjust the air springs to accept the tongue weight of the trailer or other heavy loads.

Headlight aim – Only level and stable vehicles provide safe and proper headlight aiming – critical for night driving safety.

Rough ride – Air Lift's progressive spring rate soaks up bumps, keeping tires on the road for better handling.

Bottoming out – Air Lift springs restore normal ride height when heavily loaded or towing, reducing suspension wear and eliminating crashing on bumps.

Sway and body roll – Air springs increase spring rate and vastly improve vehicle stability. When towing trailers, the air springs permit precise vehicle height adjustment for exact alignment, reducing trailer sway. Less roll and sway means a safer and more comfortable ride.

Suggested Accessories
For maximum convenience and leveling on-the-go, nothing beats an Air Lift on board air compressor system. Automatic or dash-mounted, it quickly adjusts your vehicle for changes in load or road conditions. Air Lift compressor systems are the most advanced in the industry and work with all brands of air springs.

Best Warranty in the Business
Air Lift Company warrants that the SlamAir air spring system will be free from defects in workmanship or materials for the lifetime of the vehicle of original installation. This does not include installation or other service charges for replacement.

Exclusive 60 Day Ride Satisfaction Guarantee
Air Lift guarantees you'll be happy with the improvement in road comfort and load handling. If you're not satisfied, you may remove the product and return it to your dealer for a full refund of your purchase price within the first 60 days after your purchase.

This is my 3rd airlift product. I’ve ran their helper bags on my 07 Escalade and 02 Tahoe, both lowered. It helped with ride quality and fix that chevy lean due to gas tank being on the driver side. I used this product on my 98 silverado ext cab lowered 3-4.5ish. I like the construction of the bags and the ease of installation. Took about 3hrs to install. I would definitely recommend this product.

The installation wasn't difficult. The lifts keep the frame off the axle. Before the installation, the frame rode on the axle which broke the frame (see the picture. The airlift prevents that from happening.

Great product, straight forward installation if you know what you're doing, the instructions however are a little confusing, just use your common sense and it will be fine.Kudos to amazon for prompt delivery and in my case return, since first kit was damaged.

Just like the one that's been on since 02 & Bullet proof too. Note to self, be sure & Tell friends that borrow UR ride that when they hear the compressor click on, that it does it for reason. So don't drain the air out because you think she'll ride better. She wont, she rides best with . 20 -30 lbs. air..... Copy That. So yes these things are worth buying. Even if it's twice in 12 years.

I have a 2/4 drop on my 2003 Chevy Silverado extended cab. This kit works out just fine. I've done these kits on a number of other trucks over the years at my old job and they turned out great also. When I have my Jetski (3-seater) hooked up and then start throwing stuff in the back of my truck, especally taking off to go camping, my truck is sagging int he back. With limited travel already because of the drop, I could be just about sitting on the axle at this point. Now that's no longer a issue. I air up and level my truck back up and all is good again.Right now it's manual, but I want to add a Air system in the future. One word of warning, You need a Minimum of 5-10PSI Air in your Air Springs. If you let them go flat, you'll destroy them in a period of time. The Air systems you can get which are a extra cost will automatically keep the minimum air in the system for you. I like the air ride over other solutions as it works well. you can't even see it. It's quite and it rides nice. These are not the heavy duty Air Bags. You can get air bags for much heavier loads. You have a lowered truck, these are great. A SUV, same, but a 3/4 or one ton, maybe a dully, Tow a 5th wheel, the heavier duty Air shocks would be better. In those cases the truck is not lowered and you have more room to work with for a bigger air spring. For my truck, I ran the Air lines out the back top of my license plate! Left side for the left air spring and right side for right air spring. This gives me easy access to air up in a central location. The Air fittings is what holds my License plate up. Works great for me. I've done a number of other places on trucks and SUV's also.

Good product, easy install, no problems, just what I needed. They went on in about an hour, but of course I have my own shop, but the only tools I needed were a pice of chalk, a center punch a drill/drill bits and a few wrenches and wala I as done.
