I had an experience similar to others who have posted here with my 2012 Sentra. Error codes for the oxygen sensor and MAF sensor showed up intermittently while a chugging idle occasionally occurred, especially producing a halting hesitation when in reverse. I could clear the code, it would run fine for a while and then start acting up again a few weeks later.I cleaned the MAF sensor, tried to replace the oxygen sensor but it was rusted in, with little room to turn a ratchet. The car shut off at a stop sign and I gave it one more try before surrendering and taking it in to a shop for diagnosis again. “Clean the throttle body” was the next step I hadn’t yet tried.I bought the CNC cleaner, chose the sunniest New England day (25 degrees!) in the near forecast and started to disassemble the air intake tube. I was both surprised and pleased to see the vent tube cracked below and in the rear where it was not visible. When I got it off I could see it was cracked between the folds in two places. I did proceed to remove and clean the throttle body and was again surprised that it was not dirtier, considering unfiltered air had been coming in for a few months.I used foil tape to seal the cracks temporarily until this new part came in. It is VERY tight between the throttle body and the outlet from the air filter box. With the cold, there was little flexibility in the tube and I had to add some tape after I got it back on. I added a little oil around the lips of both male and female parts on both sides - it helped. When I got the new part I kept it inside near the woodstove until the last minute to keep it warm and flexible - at best it has minimal flexibility. Still, it was a struggle. The connections are near the firewall and there is little leverage to gain when leaning over that far. But it all fit eventually, and so far, so good. The car is running noticeably better about a week in, no hesitation or rough idle so far.So the codes, should they come up, might possibly be from an airflow problem, as my initial visit to my mechanic revealed. I flexed that hose while the car was running just before ordering and the engine sped up a bit, a sign that there might be a problem there. The cracks just were not visible, buried underneath and in the back of the engine compartment.Good luck if you change it, be patient and it’ll squeeze in there eventually.

I installed this part on my sons 2011 nissan sentra and it works and fit perfectly. I was a bit skeptical buying a car part on Amazon, but you can't beat the price so I gave it a try. Awesome quality! I live in South Carolina now, and had to drive that car multiple times back to Tennessee 6 hours away, and no problems! Great purchase with no regrets.

Happy I was able to get this at that price point. It was much more expensive at the auto shop. After installation I had no issues.

Every time I would be stopped at a light, the RPM would go down below 600 and the car would start to shake before I changed it to park. Mechanics found no codes or issues with the car and tried to gaslight me and say that I was overreacting. The car would also make a rumbling brrrrring noise when I would press the brakes at low speeds or try to move forward at low speeds. This is no longer an issue. The transmission vent that attaches to this inside the car was pointed straight back at the transmission when I went to look. This part was old but had no visible damage. I replaced it and haven’t had the issue since.Huge pain to install. Was fully worth the hundreds I saved, but I’d be lying if I said the replacement was easy. I’m a thin girl though, so maybe someone with man hands will have an easier time. Took me 2 hours of messing with it to get it to go on right, even after countless YouTube videos.
