I received this LNCHKA Air Pressure Regulator through Amazon Vine, and after putting it to use in my shop, I’m pretty impressed with its performance. I run a small air compressor setup for various tools, and keeping moisture out of the lines is crucial. This unit does a great job at filtering out water and regulating pressure consistently.Installation & Build QualityThe installation was straightforward, especially if you're familiar with air compressor accessories. The fittings are true to size (1/4” NPT), and everything connected securely without leaks. The build quality is solid—mostly metal with durable plastic components that don’t feel flimsy.PerformanceI’ve tested it with multiple air tools, including a paint sprayer and an impact wrench. The pressure regulation is smooth and holds steady without noticeable fluctuations. The water separator effectively removes moisture, which is a must in humid conditions. Having both auto and semi-auto drain options is a nice touch, making maintenance easy.Pros:✔ Easy to install and well-built✔ Effective moisture removal✔ Consistent pressure regulation✔ Auto + semi-auto drain for flexibilityCons:✖ The gauge could be slightly more precise, but it’s not a dealbreaker✖ Instructions are a bit vague for first-time usersFinal ThoughtsFor the price, this is a great air pressure regulator and water separator combo. It works reliably, helps extend the life of my air tools, and does exactly what it promises. If you need an affordable yet efficient moisture filter for your compressor, this is a solid choice

Have never bothered with an Air Filter Dryer. It didn't affect my Compressor needs over the years. Simply drained my 35 gal about once a year. That was until I began using a Plasma cutter which was greatly effected by moisture in the air line.Installed this LNCHKA Air filter Dryer and the issues with the Plasma Cutter were resolved. Now I did drain my tank prior to instalment and ran a lot of air through the air Filter and hoses prior to using the Plasma cutter again. I live in the NW and this time of year there is a lot of moisture in the air. It didn't take long for moisture to appear in the water seperator cups, so it is working as advertised. Still not sure about the auto drain, If it will automatically dump water or if I manually drain it. What I don't need is water being dumped down my drywall given where it's mounted. It'll be an easy fix if it's a true auto drain. Construction of this unit is good, no problem mounting the unit or attaching the air supply nipples. This was a vine product that was free of charge to me. However looking around and talking with friends who have similar systems the price on this unit is not out of line with other quality Air Filter Systems. I'll give it a 5 star but will update if it becomes problematic at a later date.

I have installed a number of high-end versions of this piggyback set of water separators professionally. To me, this looks like an attempt to copy the appearance of an SMC product (even the party number looks familiar) - which are very nice, and very expensive. That said, there are some notable differences and trade-offs that have been made here that you should understand before purchasing. For the cost, it is hard to argue that this product does not deliver some amount of value. Just don't expect top notch performance.A water separator is meant to do just that, separate water and they do it relatively well. It is important to note that they are only effective at removing water that has already condensed into a droplet and will not remove suspended particles. The filters in these bowls are likely in the five micron range, though the manufacturer fails to mention that specification. With a two-stage setup, they should be able to separate out about 99% of water droplets. Unfortunately, that may only be a small amount of the total moisture present in the line. If you require truly dry air for your purposes, the expense increases exponentially.I will be honest and admit that I don't have a lot of experience with the type of "auto drain" on this filter set. I do have an electric, auto drain on the bottom of my compressor (which I really wouldn't want to be without). This appears to use a float to accomplish that. I personally have never seen the quantity of water in one of these traps that would be needed to trip this the drain. The second drain is manually actuated, which is fine with me. You would probably need to be in an area with consistent, maximum-humidity to hit that. Where I am, that is generally less of an issue for most of the year. The fit and finish of this set is definitely not on par with more expensive products (duh!). That is, obviously, to be expected. The castings were not cleaned up at all before being painted and installed. Unfortunately, that may mean that these could be could be difficult or impossible to fully seal. Because this is more appropriate at the end of a run/installation, where the water vapor will have the most amount of time to cool off and condense out of the stream to be captured, I would recommend installing a quality valve on the line to isolate this set when not in use.One thing I do not like is that the polycarbonate bowls only seal with O-rings and the outer housings snap in place pretty loosely. Threads on one or both would be highly preferable in this case. There are very few times that you actually will need to remove the bowls and it's pretty easy anyway, so this would be a big upgrade to prevent leaks.I like that the regulator has a locking knob. It means that I should be able to set the particular output pressure and not worry about it being changed inadvertently. Speaking of output pressure, I have two gripes to put forward:- First, the supplied air pressure gauge is absolute garbage. I would strongly recommend tossing it immediately and replacing it with a quality gauge - preferably digital, which are much more accurate and do not suffer from the inconsistencies that an analog gauge cannot avoid across the range. NIST traceability is probably not necessary here, but accuracy can be very helpful. For example, when I am spraying a finish, 5 or 10 PSI can make a lot of difference in the end result!- My second complaint, is the manufacturer's claimed, maximum flow of 60 SCFM (1700 L/min) for the ⅜" version of this set. I am not going to delve into the engineering/physics of how and why that is completely absurd, but suffice to say that there is no way that you will achieve those figures. In the best case, you are looking at a max of 20 CFM. I will caveat that with the fact that, if you are shopping for a budget set like this, it seems very unlikely to me that you possess a compressor that can supply even 10 CFM. (I just cannot stand by quietly when I see highly inflated numbers.)Bottom line: This is a decent, medium quality, budget-minded water separator/regulator. If you have compressed-air plumbed into your workspace, putting this at the end of a line just before your tool could be a decent option. If you temper your expectations, this could be a good value for your needs. I am giving this a five-star rating because it delivers the quality and value for the price that I expected. (If price were no option, this would be a very different conversation!)
