Fit the 15cm conditioner hose perfectly and dramatically decreased the heat that was being radiated out by the hose, and also stopped the very hot hose touching the wooden flooring.

I have no idea why I didn’t buy a hose cover sooner. My portable AC is setup to reach the window with only about two feet of hose and even with that little bit exposed, the heat coming from the hose can easily be felt behind the unit when running. This literally fights the AC while it is trying to cool the room and is probably worse than having a window leak since it is so hot. For everything to run efficiently you don’t want any air leaks into the room etc, and I even have an under door draft guard installed and window foam to seal everything up. Before the hose cover, and it took about 45 minutes to really feel a difference in a stagnant heat soaked 95 degree room. Now the AC cools the room in half the time, and I noticed the compressor does not need to kick on nearly as often after long periods of running also. Pays for itself with the cost savings on the electric bill for sure! As far as fitment goes, it’s a firm fit and best to lay the hose straight on a surface when installing. The color blends right in and the material is thick with nice quality stitching. I couldn’t be happier and have no idea why I spent all these years without something like this.

I like this item. I wrapped it around my ac hose, and it kept the heat from being inside. I live in an older 5th wheel and anything that helps with heat reduction is great. I recommend this item. Easy to use.I recommend you pull out the hose and then add the wrap. Velcro's together nicely.

The heat coming off the exhaust hose from the portable AC unit can add degrees to the atmosphere the unit has to cool and therefore has to work harder and use more electricity in the cooling process. This insulated cover provides a better alternative as it can be wrapped around an existing installed vent and velcroed closed easily in lieu of the older style of insulated sock. This older sock caused the hose removal from the unit, collapsing the hose, inserting it into the sock, expanding the hose to the proper length, supporting the hose again to maintain direct exhaust to the window and reattaching to the unit. This hose sleeve eliminates the hassle and reduces the temperature around the hose that the unit has to cool.

The delivery on this was SO fast which I appreciated. We’re having a heat wave in California. The cover went on my venting hose easily and fits really well. The Velcro seems sturdy enough. The weight of the cover is the issue. It’s not thick enough to really do what it’s meant to do. It does feel less hot when you touch it but it’s still warmer than what I expected. I ended up wrapping a towel over the cover which was a significant help. Bottom line, the cover is not worth the price. I’m not going to return it because between the cover and a towel I’m getting what I needed - less heat.

This is a must-have product if you have a portable air conditioner.It will greatly increase the efficiency of your unit.The product I purchased came in a 1-pack. You don’t need to cut it or anything like the other reviewer did. It’s Velcro and adjustable so you just fold it over on itself and Velcro it so it’s the right length. The Velcro is reversible that’s on it so it works both ways! And it insulates more without having to cut anything if it’s too long for your hose when you roll it over to the right length.The smell is like a wet suit. Neoprene. It faded after a couple days. Lingers for a few weeks faintly and after about a month it’s unnoticeable. I’m sensitive to smells so this is the worst part of it, but it insulates well.Noise. It reduced the noise by about 20db from the hose and the AC. I was very impressed. Make sure all the hose is covered by it to get maximum noise insulation.The insulation works. It’s incredibly effective. Normally we would have a ton of heat coming from the back of the AC unit which would make the AC work harder, but this cover blocks out about 95% of the heat that would have been emitted by the hose. It also has a couple straps to help us seal it near the area where we connected it to the outside and the AC doesn’t need to work as hard when the rooms get cool so it’s quieter there as well.Overall this product is something I never considered and I wish I bought it years ago. I’ll keep this for as long as I use portable AC units and will recommend everyone with a portable AC to get something like this to improve the look and efficiency of their AC.

I have been putting this outside to air out for the last 2 days and still the chemical smell is so overwhelming that I have had a headache since I opened the package. I really thought this was a great tool for my portable AC but i don't think I can keep it with the horrific smell. I could try to put in the wash, but I am afraid the chemical smell will get into my washing machine and I will not be able to get it out. I think this is a return.

This really makes a difference in lessening the heat coming out of the hose. Instructions were minimal. Chemical smell when package first opened but that dissipated. Once I figured it out, it fit over hose well, so worth it especially if your hose will be extended (which increases the heat output).

Ive been using it for awhile now and it works great! Super easy to install however some of the reviews were right. It does have a weird odor when you get it. I didnt air it out but after a day the odor was gone. The AC pushes air out so basically the odor went away. Definitely recommend it

Easy to install BUT DO REMEMBER TO PUT THE ELASTIC CLIPS ON BEFORE ATTACHING THE HOSE TO THE AC. I didn't!

The insulation quality is fine but take note that it is fairly short and two covers would be more useful if the hose is extended not much further away from the window. The picture, a little bit deceptively, shows two covers and 4 bands. You get 1 cover and 2 bands.The a/c hose has to be in a straight line to your window exit as the cover won't fit properly if there is a bend in the hose.It does look neat when it is put on.

This is a an absolute great product that does what it is designed to do and that is to seal the hot exhaust air from a portable AC unit hose to vent it outside, yes like some reviews I saw before I purchased this had said it is tight to wrap around the hose but in my opinion that is what also has made it an excellent product too! We worked to get it wrapped for sure but now it totally blocks all heated air exiting that hose and has none escaping into the air conditioned room! Well worth it for sure, just realize you will "work" toe get it wrapped but it does fit, just very snugly which when done turns it into a product that does what it's supposed to do! Thanks Guys
