I bought these to help with the stifling humid heat. They fo a great job of moving the air around and cool the place. However, as they are fixed and don't ocsilate, if the weather is too hot, you may need to pull it closer to point in your direction not more than s 10-15 feet away.All in all, great quality, sturdy, and a powerful fan in small size.

The base is wide and rounded making it easy to move around on the carpet with my feet where I use it. There are actually 3 distinct speeds with the Low being very low and the High moving a good amount of air. The speed switch is on the upper side of the back of the fan so not too easy to reach if using on the floor as opposed to most fan switches that are on the top facing up, a small inconvenience for people who do not have back injuries.

The quality is very good. There are different settings and on the highest you get a really good blast for the size. It is smaller but a great fan. The noise on the first setting is perfect foe those that just want white noise at night.

I picked this up on a cyber deal and even if I had paid full price I would not be disappointed. The only thing that would make this even better would be a remote. It’s powerful and relatively quiet but I actually use it to help me fall asleep, due to the ambient noise. I think it’s a little much for a desk but perfect for a smaller room. I use it with an Alexa smart plug and turn it off and on which replaces the remote feature.
