Very lightweight. A little bit too big. I should’ve gotten a size smaller. But I’m not returning it because it’s kind of nice to have a big I can wear a sweater underneath.

Seems to be well made. Color white is true to color. It’s not super warm but it’s not supposed to be.

Bought because I was hoping it would be a Free People dupe, jacket looks entirely different.

I like the overall fit and feel of this jacket. I also like that it can pack small, but i do wish it came with a small bag to pack it into. Since the jacket is not meant for super cold days (canadian winter), I usually choose this jacket when the weather is a bit more mild, and i tend to wear it unzipped. The one time I did have it zipped up, the zipper came undone from the bottom up and I was left to have to awkwardly dry to get the zipper back down so I could get out of the jacket.

this wasn’t for methe jacket felt cheap (ok fair enough it wasn’t a pricey jacket) and stiff. I liked the color, it was lightweight. and maybe ran a bit largebut ended up returning it

The cost I received looks nothing like what was in the picture! Very disappointed. The quilting pattern is diamonds instead or squared and the fit looks like a “mom” cut from 1992 instead of the cool oversized look in the pic. I will be returning.

Ok I have two of the actual Free People Pippa Jackets.. size small. Those fit oversized which I love. We fight over who is wearing these jackets. This is definitely a good dupe. This vendor is even using Free people Pippa jacket photos in their advertising. This is a pretty darn good dupe if you can't afford a $200 Pippa. Shape is correct, seams are good, pockets are good. Fabric is not the same for sure..its a stiffer fabric... not the super light weight crinkle fabric the Pippa is but it is a less expensive version. (I provided a photo of the white ones.. one is free people, one is this one so you can see the slight difference) ... Not bad but not quite right. Missing the interior pocket the FP has that you can fold the jacket into . Also, the zippers are not colored like the FP but not the end of the world. I liked the black one and my daughter will keep it for college. The white one was not the Snow White like the FP but a bit off white... sending that one back. Not because of the color but the sizing. The FP is oversized.. and super light weight and that is what makes it awesome. This one is a tad smaller. Purchased the small and medium, I am typically a small in everything, but I didn't not like the way the small fit. Sort of short in the sleeve and not as oversized and comfy like the FP. So we stuck with the med which was slightly more comfortable and more similar to what we have. Colors aren't as pretty as the FP Pippa jackets, which are usually super vibrant, but surely you can find a color you like. Hope this helps.

Update: I was pleased with this jacket on my trip and am pleased with it now 5 months later. I can confirm that it is in no way water resistant, but it does dry very quickly (completely dry after hitting it with a hotel hair dryer for 20 minutes after a good PNW soaking). I can't call it entirely windproof--it doesn't hold up on intensively windy days past 40 degrees without an added layer underneath. But I still like mine. Looks cute, suitable for cool weather.I'm a northern Midwesterner, and that's relevant because it skews how I judge this coat. What you're going to get is a fairly nice quality, roomy, packable puffer. I scoured a bit before settling on this one because the price was right. It should be noted that the zipper matches the color of the coat you pick, it's NOT silver (slightly disappointing, but not enough to bother me). The color shown is pretty accurate for the brown. I'm a little longer in the arm and could do with an extra inch in the sleeves, but it fits fine. Right to the wrist. The fit is oversized--i could've gotten a large and would still have had room for a thick sweater, but I prefer a little extra. My reasons for purchasing involved a trip to the west coast by train and back by plane. My usual winter coat was going to be very bulky for both ends of that scenario, was heavier than needed, and not made of the kind of material that can withstand a day long jaunt in rain and chill. This coat is NOT likely to be of use to anyone in my region past the first three weeks of December. I tested it with a sweatshirt (obviously warmer) and without (maybe only 1-2 degrees cooler) in feels like 26 degree weather. It's warm, don't get me wrong, but it's still thin and I don't think prolonged use in 15 degree weather would be ideal. Fine for buzzing around the mall or whatever, but absolutely useless if your car breaks down on a back road and it's gonna be an hour or two before a tow truck reaches you.All this to say, I can see myself getting a lot of use it of this jacket for what I paid. It's well made, looks good, and reasonably warm without being bulky. It'll definitely be useful in the spring and fall and the start and end points of winter or for travel. The only disappointment (as with most coats) is a lack of interior pockets. That wasn't my expectation, more of a silly little hope. Decent coat, decent price, decent level of warmth. Will update after exposing it to soggy Seattle.
