The insulation tester offers 3 output voltage level (250V/500V/1000V) and measures resistance up to 2000MΩ with ±(4% of reading ± 2 digits) accuracy. With a sampling rate of 3 times per second, it ensures quick, real-time data updates, providing reliable measurement for your electrical testing need.

Over-range Indicator

Pressing the test switch would activity a red warning light, a high-voltage symbol, and a "beep-beep" sound. If only the highest digit shows "1," it means overrange and please use a higher range setting.

Note: Residual digits when not measuring are normal and do not affect the test.

The markings for plugging in the probes are a little confusing and not intuitive. But well explained in the manual. Plastic case is not impressive, but functions well. Looks like it is NOT made for rough service. We will see if it holds up over time or not. I would recommend for a lab meter, but not a meter to be used in the field, unless you really baby it. Hence the 4 out of 5 stars.
