Like I said, same, and this kind of brush is the only kind that works on my dogs coat. I tried every other kind, spent a lot of money, and then found these after my pup chewed a more expensive kind from a relative. Buying 2 more, just to have(1 each fro travel, outside patio, and after bath)

I am familiar with every type of pet grooming aid there is and this is one you need for maintenance. I do not use this type of tool for matting... but have never myself had a matted pet. This is not the best for de-matting but can be useful as an aid for it.This is a well-made and sturdy tool that works as this type of tool should. It should be in anyone's arsenal of grooming tools for pets with fur/hair.A perfect gift for new pet owners, pet shelters, and more. It is designed just how it should be with the right type of teeth required to do the job.

This brush does an excellent job getting the surface about to shed off hairs but can't go any further than surface level on your pets fur. the combs tines are far too short to penetrate the top layer not getting their undercoak shed unless you go against the grain and do small patch sections at a time but a pet will not tolerate this for very long.

My German shepherd has long fur and sheds profusely. Luckily he loves to be brushed. Heβs not so keen with this brush but he does let me use it for a short amount of time before heβs had enough. This brush does get a good amount of the excess fur off. The teeth of the brush/comb are closer together than other brushes so I think it is not as effective at getting the undercoat. It can be rinsed off easily for cleaning. It is a sturdy brush and the grip is comfortable. Iβd say itβs a good product for the money.

This thing is a great tool for getting the excess hair off of my cats and they seem to like the way it feels so it's a win for me. It is a decent price and it does a great job. It is perfectly sized for a cat or a smaller dog.

When I first looked at the package, I was confused - it seemed really small. Then I realized I was looking at just the handle - the blade was still in the package.So once I installed the blade in the handle, I was ready to try it out.Jake loves to be brushed, and was ready for the initial test. As with all shedding blade products, I very gently stroke through his fur - to avoid any chance of injury (a dog's skin can be very delicate).Within a couple of strokes, I was getting loose dog fur accumulating in the blade (very easy to clean out), and Jake was very happy (you can see the beatific look on his face).The product feels solid, so it seems like it should last - and that's a good thing.
