The silver stripes are actually a silver tape that I didn’t bother putting on. I thought it was tacky. My husband had no issues assembling it. My friend made me a top for so I would have a counter for clients and other items.

We really needed a way to greet visitors and make it obvious where to check in and this reception desk is a great solution. Easy to build, solid, sleek, and tons of room and drawers to keep organized.Highly recommended!

The instruction manual is not user friendly. Unless you know how to build things DO NOT buy this. You have to build everything down to the slides for the drawers. Follow the instructional video if you need help. Also every time you put in a screw you slightly damage the “wood” it is very this do not over tighten! You can completely crack the pieces. However Look great once you get it all put together
