These were the answer to a problem I had. I needed to charge my phone, but the outlet was being used so I couldn't plug in my charger. I replaced it with this one so now I can charge my phone even if the outlet is used. The swap out was easy, just remove the three wires from the old outlet and connect them to the new outlet. My only complaint is that the rear mount doesn't lock the wire in place, you need to tighten the screw on the side of the outlet. I like the kind of outlet that when you push in the wire it locks into place. I had a little problem getting the cover to stay on until I noticed that there were arrows and "top" printed on both the clear plastic mount and the rear of the faceplate.

sidewire or back wire, but this has a unique to me feature.The store bulk outlets back wire is a push in style. These are much more secure. insert the wire, but then tighted the side screw to secure/loosen screw to remove. The screw tightens both the side wire and backwire in one operation!You can secure up to four 12ga conductors (2 back/2 side) on each side of outlet (8 total).This means 12ga in a shallow box is no longer such a pain!Price point allows stocking WR/TR for use everywhere.

Just installed one today. Have 3 more to do. The table resistant plugs take a little breaking in and getting used to.The face plates I got have hidden screws. So you screw on a clear bracket and then pop the face plates on to it. Not easy to get off of you need to. Also, it makes the face plates sit out from the wall.The price is cheap enough, so I'll buy some 70ยข face plates and try those.I'll update after using it a while.
