I got this for a costume, but it was more neon red than the dark auburn red I was hoping for that was advertised. It looked really cheap and really bad on. I tried my best for my costume, and honestly wish I had returned it. I will never wear it again.

So.. I feel I need to start off by saying I do not think this wig is out of the box ready as I feel a wig should be for those that can't or don't know how to fix a wig. If you want a wig that you can simply put on your head I don't think this is it for you hun.That being said, it has great bones and it's long enough to cut into a great hair style.Big head friendly, side part.If you aren't able to cut a wig yourself you should put it on your head, go to your hair stylist and ask to have it cut dry. You can call before hand, if they aren't familiar with cutting wig hair.. tips are:A razor will be so much more forgiving. Wigs will show cut marks alot easier!Cutting a wig dry is easier! Good luck!So, all that being said I love this wig. I'm wearing it for Halloween. It doesn't have clips so. Will be installing those in the front, and all this is worth the price in my opinion when I'm not planning on wearing outside of Halloween stuff one or two times..Will buy from this company again for weird colors for costumes in the future! Ps I forgot to take a out of the box picture, sorry all are after a hair cut.

I bought this for a costume, however I always knew I wanted to do alterations. This is my first wig, but I looked on YouTube and did the following to improve it. Plucked the hair line, plucked parallel to the hair line to thin the top a bit, removed the thick fabric lining at the front and reattached the hair tracks to the lace, used thinning shears to thin the hair, trimmed bangs, deshinned it using 2Tbsp fabric softener in a spray bottle, and using root cover up to apply dark root (comb this through). I don't think it would hold up with the decorative baby hairs but I am contemplating cutting some for around the ears to give it a little more natural illusion.All-in-all not the best wig, but it is serviceable and if you don't want a lace front wig I guess this is the alternative?

Perfect for my Poison Ivy costume!!! As a person who suffers from headaches, I needed to find a wig that was lightweight and comfortable. After trying many wigs I decided to give this one a try. Boy, am I glad I did!! I wore it for many hours with no discomfort or pain. I even forgot I was wearing it. On top of receiving many compliments throughout the night. This wig is absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommend it!!

I bought this wig for my Pennywise Halloween costume this year and the pictures turned out great. It comes already curled like in the photos so I didn't have to do anything to it. It's comfortable and easy to put on.. I was able to wear it all night without any issues except that it was kind of hot (SoCal in October is still mid 70s weather and I made my costume out of fleece I had laying around).The wig cap is big enough that I can easily fit all my hair inside (my hair length is down to the middle of my back). There are adjustable straps if you need to make it smaller as well. I've bought wigs that are similar are price to this one and the cap attached to the wig was so small it gave me a headache and I was constantly trying to adjust the front and back just for it to stay on! The hair is made of synthetic so it is not the softest, but since it was for a costume I have no problems with it.

First of all, lovely color and the curls aren’t tangled, they look great straight from the package! Came with a net wig cap too. It’s just the right length for me to straighten for my Saria costume, but it’s a touch on the small side overall. A bit thin, and a bit shorter than middle length. If you keep it wavy, you may see some of your hair because the inner cap doesn’t spread over your whole head (you can either see the front hair or the back.) and it’s, again, short. I don’t think you could cut bangs easily in this state, but brush through it with some conditioner and that may spread out the hairs for better coverage. Also, you buy a fabric wig cap that matches your skintone and it’ll hide your hair more! I would’ve left 5 stars because it’s perfect for my costume, but I wanted others to know what they’re buying into :)
