This cooling pad is more on the simple end. You just plug it into your micro USB port and it powers on instantly. The power is not as heavy and strong as the costly fans. You pop the clip out and it holds your laptop in place. The cooling is decent and lighting is not so visible when you have a laptop on top of it. This is best for someone looking for a low costs fan that can do the basics and at least maintain some type of cooling verses none at all.

Eh, it works, has a decent amount of airflow but makes a noise. It's not so bad when I have my headset on. Be aware of this if you decide to not use headphones.

Byild quality feels great, and fan noise at max speed Is lower than my laptop (HP Envy 16) so that's a win. Airflow is low but better than nothing, and reduces temps by 4-5 degrees on avg, so pretty good for a basic cooling pad.Tip: having its legs raised, even at the smallest degree, performs way better than without the legs as it allows for more cool air to flow through. Improved my temps by 2 degrees vs having it flat.

I love this cooling pad. I place it under my laptop when I'm about to log on to start my business day or when I go on a gaming session. This pad can elevate itself and therefore elevate your laptop. I like it very much because it's helped with my gaming and it feels really comfortable. My fans would run pretty hard when I would be on my laptop for more than two hours and you could feel the heat permeate from the back. I couldn't keep anything behind my laptop because the heat would melt it or overheat it. With the cooling pad, I don't have to worry about any of that. My fans don't sound like jet engines anymore and the heat that was constant in the back, is no longer a problem. This cooling pad is quick to hook up and easy to start. If you can read, you can do it. I don't know why I didn't get this before, but so glad I have it now.

This works well for our Acer laptop but less so for the boy's tablet and mac pro. I think the key factor is where the air flows in and out of the device. If the air intake is not aimed into the cooler airflow, it is less effective.The fans are almost silent, and I very much appreciate the two ports in the back, being it means I can connect the fan to the device and still have a usable port in the process.
