Got to adhere some heatsinks to a 10GBe transceiver. Cut and apply, works great the heat transferred to the sinks, cooling the device.

The item was delivered quickly. Performs well. Was going to mention that the plastic is difficult to get off but that might be a factor in it have good adhesion.

Had to de-skirt heat spreader on a ram module to make way for a certain parallel air cooler for cpu. Wasn't a problem removing with a heat gun and soft pry tool, but when I needed to put the spreader back on, the adhesive on the original thermal media had gotten rather weak. I managed to get everything to stick closed but it was kinda loose when I checked a week later.It was time to replace the thermal padding. I was using the re assembled module at time of this purchase so I couldn't take a measurement. I decided on the 20mm as it looked the closest to what I remember. The width was dead on (pic). What you have to remember is this isnt a rubber based, but a foam based medium. Installed on both sides of module while making sure this new stuff didnt sag between the IC's. THIS STUFF IS STICKY! It is also less stiff then the original thermal padding and was even tough to cut straight with a good pair of scissors. The Xacto made it much easier. Happy to say temps on all modules seem to be equal and running stable again. Yes there were temp inconsistencies with the naked RAM which caused an instability with my aggressive overclock. Glad I found this. Just wondering what to do with the other 15 feet of it! 😄

I really like the ease of use with this tape over the traditional messiness of heat sink compound.With this tape, it’s as simple as cut, stick, align, peel, stick, and DONE!The simplicity of this tape and its use far outweighs that of drilling, insulating, aligning, and mounting, and the adhesion allows you to be confident that your device(s) will remain where they are initially placed.I’ve not yet tried this product with high heat applications such as RF output and audio transistors, but as those results are known, I will post them in the review category for this product.

Tried to use in several applications without much luck. Seemed to act more as a thermal insulator than transfer medium. I regret not buying the thinner version as it may transfer heat more readily. Not sure what this could be used for. DO NOT USE ON CPUs, GPUs, or high wattage LED cob.

I love the attention to detail and the pride of the company involved. Unfortunately, other parts of my order were delayed (not by this company!). Because of the delay, I was unable to proceed with my project; however, a visual inspection showed the tape to be of good quality.I expect it to perform exactly as is advertised. Though I have a sufficient supply for now, if I were to need additional tape I would not hesitate to purchase from this company. The tape is of the advertised width, and is quite thin, exactly what is needed for good thermal conductivity (where greater thickness is not better).

the tape is stickier than most, but very thin, too thin for many of my parts so i had to get another brand. the parts that use it are not cooling as well as my parts with paste, the other tape i bought, and older tape i have. i was replacing stock tape that came with my EKWB parts and that stuff was better by a few degrees. this could be my fault, but im pretty sure its the new tape. that said it still works. also when i was done i placed the tape down on my desk once and it picked up a ton of dust on the side, which is the last thing i want in my PC. i will buy strips in future.
