I will use it but I wouldn't buy it again. You can see cracking in every crease it's folded. Using on turbo oil return and ac suction line. Both are next to exhaust manifold.

I like that it's tough, thick and sturdy.I dislike that the side effect of having glass weaves inside make it hard to slide over rubber hoses.Trick: I used a metal rod inserted in bent rubber hoses to straighten them up before sliding the heat sheath.

I was installing some accessory wiring in my new truck and those wires were gonna be close to the muffler -- so I wanted a quality heat sheath and this did the trick. I was able to cut to length using industrial scissors and it fit up to 1/2 inch bundled automotive wires. I mainly chose this product because of its quality and that it was American made. Has fiberglass in it, so be aware that it will stick to wires after pulling through -- meaning, wash your hands well and do not touch your face afterwards. I will buy again happily when needed again.
