I am using this with my rounded book cover guide to cut the exact size and shape that I need to cover my favorite books whose covers have been hanging by a thread for ages. I am so pleased to be able to do a semi-professional job with no training other than the instructions that accompanied the cover guide tool.

The binding cloth seems quite sturdy. It was a little difficult to work with due to the loose weave, but that's typical. Thought the price was a bit high, but overall I'm satisfied.

This is a decent amount of cloth for a decent price. Helps to strengthen the spine of a book being bound. I’m brand new to book binding, so don’t know yet what the long-term quality of my binds will be, but I feel like this material will hold up well. Similar to a cheesecloth type of material; a loosely woven material.

I ordered this bookbinding fabric so I could try my hand at making custom journals. I didn't realize the pieces of fabric are so big! This should easily make a ton of journals! The cloth seems good quality, and pretty strong. I'm excited to try this out on my next bookmaking project! 😁

I was so very happy to see this bookbinding necessity appear on Amazon. I can find nothing locally and mail order required a large amount and/or was extremely expensive from book-binding specialty stores. No matter what you call it where you live, Mull, Super, Crash, or something else (You GOTTA tell me what other names it has where you live!), it laid down over the spine of a book I was making and worked like a champ.I'm so glad I will no longer have to make do with some other material; I can bind books with confidence in the correct materials now. Wheee!!Don't let the item name or description confuse you. This is not a kit, it is the material one uses over a book spine to make books or repair books. And it works exactly as it should!

This is classic book cloth. Super easy to use and I like the size this comes in. The thickness is what you expect and for the price, I'd probably grab this set again.

I've been "perfect binding" books and booklets for quite a few years now, and this stuff really fills a niche for the amateur bookbinder. For both construction and repair to damaged books this stuff will add a lot of structural support to a glued binding. The cloth is pre-sized, so it is easy to cut and keep in place while you glue it down, and it works very well with PVA glue.

This is very easy to use, doesn't fall apart after cutting and holds plenty of glue so I feel like my bindings are really secure. They're large sheets so this will last for quite awhile.
