So I ordered a while ago, and set up my vivarium, and it would run 5-10 minutes and quit.Requested a replacement and it got here overnight.This one is everything I hoped for. Gives me a 99,% humidity each night at 'sundown'.We're ready for the dart frogs to move in.

This item was previously opened and used. There are also parts missing.2 days later, I took a better look and was able to make the splash guard work. Directions are not accurate for it. Mister will splash a lot without it.

I used this for a terrarium and it worked well, however did not produce the amount of fog I was expecting. Don't expect this to fill a whole room with fog, only maybe a medium sized fish bowl. The fog also takes a while to accumulate, so you have to be patience. Also having the device at the proper depth is important to maximizing its output.

I got a couple to use in my halloween display this year. I have a couple of fog machines but only use them for the week of Halloween. I wanted something that wouldn’t cost me to much to use/refill through my Halloween season September - October. I got a couple and put them in 99cent store cauldrons and I put them behind some tombstones, little plants, props, etc. they look amazing even tho it isn’t a lot of smoke it still gives off that spooky feeling and with a little wind it’s perfect. Also I recommend getting the floatable mist attachment to put the mist maker in so it will float on the water you added to the container, etc.

Made my own cloner using these and it has opened a whole new world for rooting cuttings !!! These are incredible. Work with net pots and rock wool for getting seeds started too but I'm more interested in getting cuttings like blueberries to root so just the cloning collars and net cups with these fog makers as the root area mister. When you lift the lid the fog just rolls out.. these are great. I think I have 5 now... so yes...I like em. Would be fun for a small waterfall area....I am using an inverted cake container so that is the size of the area holding the water and the base part has the holes and net cups put through ...so there is enough water over the top of the fog maker to mist the bottom and just one is enough for this size.
