This does get you the reach and as expected it works well, with some support. I read the other reviews before I purchased and the guy that called it a hissing cobra was not wrong! Based on some of the reviews I chose to secure the extension to a pool pole just using zip ties at all the unions. Glad I did! Even with the pole attached, when I pulled the trigger, that thing blew away from the house with surprising force and still tried to curve backwards! I laughed, my wife laughed, the neighbor laughed. But honestly I could not imagine how wild it would flail without using a support pole. Once I got my hand placement and position right, it worked really well. It's a good shoulder workout holding control so far from the tip but it will get the job done. Also, I did use Teflon tape on all the threaded unions in addition to the orings and snugged them up with a wrench. I did not have any leaking issues. All in all not bad but if you don't have something lightweight and rigid to reach up to the height you need, you will probably want to find one or possibly a unit better suited to operate without secondary support.

I bought this to clean out my gutters and the snow finally melted enough today to put this to use. The extension and straight nozzle got the most use. I was able to clean the sides of the house so much faster than previously. Instead of constantly moving and climbing up and down a ladder I was able to park myself in a couple spots and just swing the wand. An unexpected benefit was that I was able to stay out of the splash zone for the high stuff. When I finally got to the point of doing the gutters, the bent attachment did a great job of cleaning them out from the ground. My only concern is the amount of side flex the wand experiences when it is cleaning the gutters. There is significant side thrust with a powerful pressure washer. It held up fine despite the flex though.I’m not really sure how many stars it gets for “warmth” and “thickness”. There’s probably something lost in translation.I bet by the time I finish the house and garage, the amount of fuel I will have saved by avoiding the ladder work will almost pay for the wand.

This is an addendum to my initial review. When I first purchased this a few weeks ago, I reviewed this product before I had a chance to actually use it. Today, I had that opportunity. If I had to buy this all over again I probably would. The thing I learned today is that you should really only consider using this if your pressure washer is lower in power. Mine is 2700 psi, and trying to use this at full length was like trying to wrestle a half gorilla, half giraffe mix. I’m 6 ft 4 in, and weigh 245 lbs, so I’m no 98 lb weakling, but this thing fought me the entire time. It would not, or better yet, “could not” stay in place while I had the trigger pulled. I gave my neighbor quite a laugh when I first tried it. In the end, I had to use approximately half the pieces, and climb a 6 ft step ladder to accomplish my task. Even then, it was a major task trying to just keep the tip of the wand in my gutters. Would I recommend this now? Unless you’re built like The Rock, Dewayne Johnson, I’d stay away from this particular cleaning attachment. Thank you for taking time to read this review, and good luck. When I bought my house 11 years ago, I didn’t consider how difficult it would be to clean the gutters. The lowest gutters to the ground are almost 20 feet high. I have a 16 foot ladder, but even with it, I need an extension of some sort to reach them. I don’t have any trees in my yard, so they’ve stayed fairly clean, but for some reason the leaves from my neighbors houses have found their way into the gutters directly above my front door. This kit is exactly what I need to clean them out. I can connect it to my gas pressure washer and safely clean them from my front stoop. This works like a dream, and is going to save me a lot of time and effort in the future.I highly recommend getting one, especially for the price. My H*** D**** store sells something similar, but at five times the price.

I've struggled for years with finding the best way to clean out my rain gutters. Until I found this, nothing worked and everything was frustrating.About five years ago my son and I built this ridiculous contraption out of 3" PVC drain line with a couple of 90* elbows and connected it to our leaf blower. It took two of us to work it, but it was only moderately effective at cleaning the gutters (and we looked like Laurel & Hardy bungling through the chore).Fast forward to this past Christmas when Santa brought me a new pressure washer. I was searching for accessories and came across this item. It's the genius solution that I've needed for years. It's inexpensive and lightweight and only takes one person to operate.Be forewarned that it's a complete mess to use this. The layer of silt at the bottom gutters from dust and powdered airborne residue from car tires and brake pads becomes a black messy sludge when you wash it out. But that's the gunk that cements leaves and twigs into your gutter and ends up clogging the downspout. We have about 75' of gutters in the front yard and only 25' in the back. It took me less than 45 minutes to use this device to clean out the gutters, and then another half hour to wash down all the mess off of the driveway.Yesterday was the big test. We had a major storm in my area and it was a tropical one from the south instead of a cold one from the north. The rain came down in massive drops and poured down harder than I've ever seen. It was exactly the kind of rainfall that would overflow all of our gutters, no matter what we did. Not this time though. The waterfalls over our front door and rear slider never happened.I couldn't be happier with the spray wand, even if they ripped off my genius leaf blower idea.

This seems to work well, but maybe you shouldn't do what I did and buy 2 kits and attach them together to get a super long stick for second story. The force of the water makes it a bit hard to control and has bent the rods slightly. Probably can still use them though.
