This brand was first recommended to me by a clerk in the pharmacy department. My insurance quit covering test strips and the clerk told me she and her family used this brand. It is affordable when you have to buy your own.

Strips for the AgaMatrix (Wavesense) Presto glucose monitor. I have very simple needs. Glucose resistant with parents and grandparents who had type 2. My A1C had crept into the "pre-diabetic" range. Doctor wanted to place me on medication but I asked for another quarter to turn things around. I really wanted to avoid the adverse health effects and medications that come with a diabetes. I had a Wavesense monitor sitting in my cabinet for several years. Monitoring once daily keeps me on the straight and narrow, and my quarterly A1C has fallen from 6.4 to 5.1 over the past 18 months. Of course I did the work in changing my diet, but the Presto BG monitor is very affordable and accurate tool to assist in meeting my personal health goals. No code is a great bonus for ease of use. Order fulfillment from Amazon is within a day or two.

Difficult to say you "love" diabetic test strips! Not much about diabetes I 'love'! Having said that, we all know we need to purchase supplies often, and they can be very expensive. I was using the Freestyle Lite, and I have to say, for ease of use, it was about the best. As for the pocketbook, the test strips were very expensive. I did some research, and found the WaveSense was much more affordable in the way of test strips. To be able to purchase 100 test strips for just under $23.00 was doable for us. I don't use their lancets. I use BD brand lancets. I like the 33 gauge. They don't seem to hurt as much, and you can use them on many of the devices. I guess I have taken the long way around the barn to say that these test strips work well, and I have had no trouble with them at all.
