The pockets are very tight/snug which I suppose is good to make sure the drive you insert is snug and doesn't slide out ever. I'm not sure if it affects the cooling of the SSD or anything but haven't had any performance issues. Love that I was able to pry it off and re-apply it to a different part of the laptop.For reference, my photo is of a 16-inch MacBook M2 Max (2023).

These work super well for holding my external drives. But I have found that if I am switching between a couple relatively frequently then my ssd will have a lip of fabric get in the way of the port so it can be annoying to have to move it over and over. Other than that, it is a great product especially for the price. Good quality and easy to use

Clean design, appears well made and of quality materials. 3M reusable adhesive: time is the test, this was just installed - we’ll see. Fits Crucial X9 SSD, with room to spare. Pouch elastic bands hold it in place nicely. No longer fumbling with, or risking dropping/losing SSD drive. Paired with a USB-C “U” adapter and a short AfterPlug flat USB-C cable for a clean installation on a cool area of the bottom of my laptop. Wish I had done this much sooner! Only took 1-star off for as yet unproven adhesive durability and remov-a-bility. Other than that, would be 5-stars, based on what I see so far. Highly recommend! EDIT: January2025 - 5 months later, adhesive holding perfectly. Adjusted rating to 5-stars. Well deserved.

I’ve had too many issues over the years of trying to work on my mobile device and having a hard drive hanging from it. In fact, I lost an entire project once so this was a no-brainer when I saw it. The stickiness is solid and the product is stretchy, which allows you to fit in larger hard drives as well Smaller hard drives are secured in by the elastic wrap.

I was tired of handholding my external SSD everytime I moved while carrying my laptop in the other hand, yes, I agree, that doesn't sound, nor was it a safe thing to do. So I thought of using velcro to attach my SSD to the back of the laptop, but, .... I found this nice little practical and good looking product instead.It works wonders and now I more safely move my laptop with both hands since the SSD in a pocket isn't going anywhere. Much better than the velcro which I figure will eventually loose its grip after repeated removals. This Pocket Pouch is a great product, I highly recommend it.

I have been using this to hold a small solid state external hard drive to the back of my MacBook Air for one year and the adhesive has been holding up great. Very convenient way to add a lot of extra storage and keep it portable.I will be buying a second one to hold my mouse as well.I have a 15" MacBook Air and it will fit two on opposite sides of the Apple logo without covering it.

Easy install and does the trick. It holds my Samsung T7 2tb hard drive snug and secure. I love the ease of the expanded hard drive space and how it keeps the workspace less cluttered. Adhesive seems to be strong. A little worried if I wanted to move the drive, but for now, I am completely satisfied.
