This cheerful little robot happily and consistently sharpens pencils. I like the ability to "dial" how sharp the point will be -- I'm using it in my classroom, so do not have it on the sharpest setting. A teacher-colleague of mine has successfully used it in his classroom for 3 months, and it's still working, so that's a pretty good testimony to its durability. He and I both strictly limit which student can be the official sharpener. The fact that it's re-chargeable is also convenient.

If you’re a teacher, this is the smartest purchase!! I love how you don’t have to guess when to take the pencil out, or wait for something to light up. My students are able to independently sharpen pencils without breaking their lead or the sharpener.

This sharpener is so easy to use, sharpens better than any auto sharpener I have ever used before, and the fact that it is rechargeable makes it even better!

Oh my gosh I am so glad I bought this for my classroom! I was SO SICK of just hearing the whir of the pencil sharpener because my third graders couldn’t tell when it was done or they weren’t pushing it in far enough (just enough to turn it on). This has saved my sanity because they just push the pencil in, the sharpener grabs it and pulls it in, sharpens it, and brings it back up. That function is AHHH-MAZING! If you are or know a teacher, spend the money, it’s worth the value! I promise!
