Broke my factory intake tube, use this to replace it with my factory airbox on my 06 cummins. Because there is no flexible section changing the air filter is more of a pain and easier if you unclamp the tube at the airbox whereas you used to just be able to pry the factory airbox over and pop the filter in.But, other than that it does the job.

Nice replacement for the factory intake tube between the air box and turbo on my 2003 5.9 Cummins. Easy way to get rid of the factory intake baffle, and create a nice smooth path for intake air to let the engine breath better.Will it make a big difference in anything (power, fuel economy, etc)? Probably not. But if you want to simplify your intake and improve flow WITHOUT ditching your well designed factory airbox, this is a great solution.Well put together kit, and everything seems to be pretty good quality wise. Installed in a matter of minutes.My only complaint? You loose that little contoured spot on the factory upper boot where the MAF sensors wire clips into. Nothing a zip tie didn’t fix.A LOT cheaper than your average cold air intake, and probably gets 75% or more benefit that most of those intakes offer, while retaining the niceties of the factory airbox.

I bought this tube to replace the factory intake tube. This tube is a 1/4 of the weight of the factory dodge one. and it really woke up the turbo. It now spools up much faster.

This is a well built product but it really only fits well with their air box. I have an Mean Green aftermarket air cleaner and I have to remove the tube to change my oil now. Tried it with the factory box same thing as well. So if you are gonna buy this item I suggest the air box too.
