Sturdy 18 gauge powder-coated one-piece heat shield blocks performance-robbing engine heat. This heat shield requires no assembly and uses factory mounting locations for fast and easy installation. Constant 3-1/2" diameter mandrel-bent black powder-coated aluminum intake tube for better heat Insulation and volumetric efficiency. The 3-angle adaptor is used to speed up the airflow after the air filter for improved performance and throttle response. No noticable horsepower gain felt but it sounds a lot better and looks really cool. I wish the crank case vent hose fit better on the valve cover. I also had to trim it shorter too.

WOW! Really woke up my 2014 SRT Jeep. Install was a breeze, product construction is top-notch and fitment is perfect. I am getting 5-7 degrees above ambient temp on my IAT reading so the heat shield is functioning. The filter is HUGE and really allows more flow and a great sound @ WOT. Shaved 0.2 seconds on my 0-60mph; down to 4.2 seconds. Impressive. I will update as time progresses but so far I am very happy with my purchase!
