Works very well to modify and reshape a vehicle seat, I modified my motorcycle seat by this. It has two extra blades I would’ve liked if they were of different sizes so we can have one for rough material take out and one to finish. But great overall tool to do some DIY modifications

Bought this tool to do some body work. So far only used it to reduce the diameter of a shovel handle to get a D handle on. Worked good on the ash handle, screen popped out a couple of time.

I bought this because I've had one before and it really does its job. Unfortunately, its job is for small projects. I found a very large staff washed up from the river near my parents' farm in Virginia. Impressively, it looks exactly like the staff that Gandalf the Grey uses in The Fellowship of the Ring. It's old, worn, and the formation at the top is virtually identical to the prop staff that was made for Ian McKellan. Here's the problem, the staff is so thick I can barely reach my hand around it. And, it is very heavy to walk with. (To answer a particular question that might arise, yes, I have used the staff to reenact Gandalf's battle against the Balrog [I also have a replica of Gandalf's Sword]).So I tried using this fine tool to thin the staff down so it will better resemble the Gandalf version, and so it will be more practical. Unfortunately, after a couple hours of scraping at the staff, I have gotten almost nowhere. I love this little tool, but it's not suited to larger projects. I think I may have to use a planer, though I'm hesitant to do so. This is a once-in-a-lifetime find, and despite the work it will take, I don't want to screw it up.All that said. I have a fairly well-stocked workshop, but I did have this tool and I foresee it being helpful for countless projects.

Good tool for ceramics and sculpting. I bought this for ceramic sculpting, it is great for shaving down leather-hard clay when shaping a sculpture. I have also used these to shave down styrofoam when roughing in shapes.

These are OK, but not sharp enough.
