My daughter makes bracelets and it takes her forever so when I saw this I was really excited to order it for her. I thought it was going to cut the time in half but it takes just as long for her to make one as it does for the bead spinner to make one.It helps a little because as she’s making one by hand she has the bead spinner make one too.Pros: it’s automatic, my daughter can make a bracelet by hand while the spinner makes one for her so she gets 2 done at once.Cons: it takes forever to make a bracelet, it spits out beads so you might be out a few beads, the pattern will be super random, not really worth it unless you’re a child and can’t get the string in the hole and / or lack patience…but even with this bead spinner you’ll need patience.

I am impressed with how well this spinner works! I ordered the blue spinner, it's true to the color in the photo. It's very lightweight and easily portable. This spinner helped me make many bracelets in a much shorter amount of time than hand stringing the beads. It is very easy to use. It comes with simple instructions and materials needed to begin creating immediately. The only complaint I have isn't enough to reduce the star rating to a 4, is the line they send with the kit doesn't like to stay tied in a knot, so when trying to get the bracelets to stay whole, I eventually ended up melting the line together after tying it, that works some but not consistently so just get better line for stringing. The machine itself is fantastic and very affordable, very well priced.

My two girls (aged 5 and 12) both liked this item. I had to do the maneuvering of the needles to adjust properly to get the beads to start stringing on the needles when doing this activity with my 5 year old. She played around with it some but also got frustrated when she couldnt get the beads to thread the needle. I took off one star for this. I will say, it works much better (as indicated in instructions) when you fill the barrel with more beads. However, once you mix beads in the barrel there is no going back. Obviously, there is no way to do a set pattern when making bracelets of necklaces with this spinner - the pattern will be random. The main use for this spinner is to make bracelets quicker and more efficiently as long as random patterns is all you want. I do think overall it's a quality product. It comes with several bead colors and a few bonus bead packs (hearts, stars, letters, smiley faces, shells, gems) and a roll of string. The string quality was very good. It also comes with clasps if you choose to make a fancier style bracelet or necklace that isn't just tied. I'd recommend buying a fishing/plastic sectioned box to store the beads (they do come in resealable plastic bags but I think easier to keep everything in one place with a storage box. You can find them cheap at Dollar Tree/Walmart. This spinner also is charged by USB (included). Overall, really nice gift!

i was expecting a plastic spinner. but its great quality and heavy. easy to use and helped string the beads easily. it used to take me for ever to string the flat beans but this makes it so much easier and faster.

First off, this thing is cute! It comes in a nice box, has everything you need to get started immediately, and mine came with a good charge. You get "clay beads" (they seem to be plastic, however), and a bunch of other accessories, findings, and elastic stretchy bracelet/necklace cord to get started making bracelets or necklaces right away.It does take some trial and error to figure out how many beads it can hold, and what speed it works best on. You may also have the bend the needles a bit to get them at the right angle to catch the beads properly or else you'll be sitting there for ages waiting for it to catch 1 every 3-5 minutes.I messed around with this thing for an hour, different speeds, different amounts of beads, etc, and it STILL ended up tossing out a few beads here and there, so you do want to keep an eye on it so you can grab the runaway beads.However, it DOES work like it should. It spins good and will toss the beads on your needles. The randomness it creates is very fun on bracelets and necklaces and it's great for both kids and adults (Im 41 and having quite a bit of fun with this thing myself!).I'm removing 1 star for it tossing out the occasional bead, no matter what I seem to do as far as speed or amount of beads. But aside from that, it works and WILL help you or your kids create some very random and eye-catching bracelets and necklaces!
