I ordered this set as a way to get introduced to embroidery. I know how to crochet and sew but was looking for a fun new craft to start and this set looked absolutely adorable! As a beginner, i don't really know any of the stitches but these instructions explain how to do it all which is wonderful. Everything you need is included, even little scissors, and the instructions are very thorough and easy to understand. The images you create are also a really good size (I was a bit worried they would be very small). Overall I'm very impressed with this set and excited to create these cute little designs!

This kit comes with all you need to embroider three cute projects, including the floss, needles, scissors, and needle threader. There is a plastic hoop for each project, so you could do all three at once if you feel ambitious or have friends. The instructions seem easy enough to follow, although I noticed a little issue with translation here and there. The picture outlines are printed on the fabric and the floss is sorted by number, so everything is an embroidery paint-by-numbers set. Floss and fabric comes folded in with the instructions and hoop in individual packages, so things are kept separate for convenience. Very good kit, highly recommend.

This is a lovely embroidery set which comes with four different design kits, scissors, a needle threader, needles and two hoops. Each design kit includes a cloth with the design on it as well as colored embroidery string to complete the design. It's absolutely lovely and gives me so much nostalgia of the days when my grandmother had me do embroidery as a child. I love that there are two hoops included so that you can work on more than one project at once, or divide the kit between two children who are learning, giving them two designs each. Highly recommend!

I’ve recently got into embroidery again after a gap of many, many years. So I’m a returning beginner but feel like a total novice. This kit caught my eye because the designs looked interesting and, well, eye-catching - I like the "sketchbook" look, where each design is only partially "colored in" to draw attention to particular areas while leaving others very sparsely-detailed.These are described as being suitable for beginners, which they are, but they’re not so basic that they won’t be a challenge. I love this - it really helps me build confidence and get practice with different stitches and techniques.The kit includes the materials for three complete projects. Everything you need for each of the three designs is packaged separately, and you get three embroidery hoops, too - this is an improvement vs. some similar kits I’ve seen where you only get one hoop, meaning that if you want to display your finished work on a hoop, you’ll need to get extras. That’s not a problem with this kit! The only thing that you don’t get multiples of is the little pair of embroidery scissors, the seam ripper, and the needle threader. Each project even comes with three needles, so you get nine in total.The instructions are really impressive - each project comes with its own full-color instructions with each part of the design clearly labeled, and detailed step-by-step guidance, complete with photos, on how to do each of the required stitches. The instructions also show how to finish the project so it can be displayed on the hoop - a lot of other kits I’ve come across don’t go that far, so that’s a nice touch.The fabric is decent quality and clearly printed with the design. The embroidery floss is pretty decent, too - vibrantly-colored and glossy, and it all comes looped through a numbered card so you can easily match up each thread color vs. the numbering shown on the instructions.The only thing I can think of that would improve this kit is if standard color reference numbers were provided for the embroidery flosses that are used, just in case you should find yourself running out and needing to pick up some extra. Still, that’s a very minor issue in the greater scheme of things. All in all, this is a really impressive kit that will keep me busy for a while!
