I was looking for a scale to weigh heavy things and this works for that. IRL you get a scale with a zero button, a backlight, a power button ... and it gives you lbs & ozs or metric units. I was a little confused until I realized that the oz were the remainder after the pounds.... but that is a feature and not a bug. A lot of shipping applications actually need that kind of input vs a fraction, so its nice in that regard. It also comes with a really tough case!

I use this scale for all kinds of stuff other than just HVAC related purpose. I weigh my luggage for example whenever I travel or other things just out of curiosity. I like that it is very accurate and the weight distribution is consistently precise. It's awesome that you can hang up the digital screen on the wall, also to make adustments. Way more practical than staring at the ground and leaning over to press buttons.
