This felt-like non-woven fabric liner is sturdy. I needed it to allow excess water to drain from my planters while also retaining the water in the soil. This fabric cuts easily and is practical, breathable, and flexible. I think this could also be used as a weed barrier on top of the ground. Highly recommend! 👍😁

This liner is very thick, and it's enough to line several planters or one large raised bed box planter. I'm using this in a large box planter that I'm transplanting my winter veggie seedlings into. It was easy to cut to size, and to hold it in place I used a bag of those paving pebbles around the perimeter. This is a good quality liner.

This non-woven, felt-like fabric liner is thicker than most of my grow bags. The upside should be durability, the downside is somewhat less flexibility. It's great to have the versatility offered by the size of this roll, for lining larger or unusually shaped planters or even making your own grow bags. I used this to line a large rectangular planter box; it was a little tricky to fold at the corners due to the thickness, so I ended up stapling it to the wood to keep it in place. My particular application will leave this liner in close contact with water and occasionally submerged, so it will be interesting to see how well it holds up over time. In my opinion the thickness and length for the price are a good value, if you don't need something thin and highly flexible then this could be a good choice.

Thick felt, feels very durable! So most folks probably fill their pots with soil and allow the soil to maintain the felt liner position. I have tried this approach but shifting sometimes disrupted my flowers. This time I wanted to add some security to maintain the felt liner position. I used black zip ties. I used a mini triangular metal file to poke holes (this worked well even through several layers). This felt liner is thick and without soil it failed to mold to the shape of my wire frame…Rice solved that issue. I filled a large freezer bag with rice and placed it where my soil would have been. Worked nicely. (Freezer bag and rice were both enjoyed again later:).The only issue I found was that having three hands instead of two would have helped immensely. Other than that, I absolutely love this versatile [soil-saving] felt liner and plan to get more.

I’m building a DIY lettuce planter to sit on my deck. I was looking at garden liner cloth that wouldn’t require too much cutting and this 14” wide roll is perfect. I chose the black because I did a much larger but similar projects a few years ago using off white colored canvas. But of course the muddy water bleeds through. Didn’t make a lot of difference the first time, since that project was more a raised garden in the yard. But this is going to sit where my guests can see it and the black color won’t show the mud so much. The cloth has nice weight and the dark color will help protect the plants from chilly temps.

This is a tightly woven, thick material that makes it much more durable than some others I'm using. Not sure how many years it will last, but first impressions have me thinking it will certainly outlive the typical coconut fiber ones that usually only get a year or two before falling apart.-Unlike coconut fiber, this keeps its shape far better and doesn't spill out of the planters.-Making it fit and cutting excess is simple. -It allows excess water to drain while also retaining the water in the soil better than the coconut fiber.-You could use this as a thick weed barrier if used on the top of a planter as well.

I got this to create miniature gardens along a small creek. The soil is loose from recent excavation, so I’m hoping this will help keep everything in place until some thick roots take hold. I’ve anchored the fabric with decorative rocks. This fabric cuts easily with kids’ scissors; I’ve cut it in half lengthwise, so my planting borders are 8” high. It is thick and easy to grasp, with just the right amount of stiffness to anchor the soil, but it bends easily to shape into curves. The fabric is almost waterproof, so I’ve lined only the sides of the planting areas (leaving the bottom unlined), to prevent drowning of the plants during heavy rains, and also (hopefully) allow deep roots to grow... This fabric is fun to work with, I keep coming up with new shapes to try and it has handled them all.

The Adnee 78.7 x 14 Inch Non Woven Flower Pot Liner is as described in the product description. I would describe it as being like a thick felt.My only issue is that because of its thickness, it is not very pliable. I had a difficult time using it in the bowl of a hanging basket.
