Despite the companies claims of being American made, these are definitely coming from overseas. That being said welding and overall manufacturing looks ok. As for the function, the hitch in general is sloppy. There's ~1/8" gap between the u-channel and drop bar and clearance in the rotating portion. This along with the common hitch to receiver slop this hitch can wander. My first tow with this hitch and a small trailer was a nightmare of sway. I cut and fit a piece of aluminum to shim the drop and plan to bush the rotating portion as well to tighten this hitch up. Overall I like the functionality and of course price, but there's alot of opportunity for improvement. The u-channel could easily be tighter with proper brake press dies or other manufacturing changes.
