What a find. I needed these clamps for a project in the shop and I found 'em and they were a good price for a dozen. I've used them on 1 project and they held up well when you consider that I put a lot of weight and pressure on them.

I needed these adjustable toggle clamps for my custom miter shooting board to hold my wood stock in place while routing 45-degree miters, and they did exactly what I needed. The clamp quality is excellent, with all-metal construction that ensures durability and longevity. Installation was super easy, and adjusting the arm length was a breeze once set. These are what I would consider light duty, but they are performing well at that level. I use them to hold light stock on tablesaw jigs, especially small cut off pieces that I don't want to try to hold with my fingers. I would say that they should work well for anything that you could hold in place with your fingers; beyond that I would go larger myself, but I have no actual figures or tests to base this opinion on. They seem to be as good quality as larger clamps that I have bought for about three times the price. They are not as powerful or heavily constructed, but they seem to be made well for light duty use.

I do wood working and am constantly making jigs to hold things at a certain angle etc and these clamps are a style that work well many times. I ordered these because i am making a jig to hold my chisels and plane blades while sharpening them. They work for me, I hope they work for your uses too.

I don't intend on holding down anything terriblly large or heavy. Just having another "hand" to hold everything straight while I work would be helpful. Honestly I don't post reviews ever, but I purchased this item, and while not blown away by the quality, I am happy with my purchase. EXCEPT I got 8 instead of the 12 I was expecting. I'd like to get the last 4 without having to exchange the whole set. We'll see how that works out.
