This is very useful and very well made. Good too attach a clamp type light and I've even got a articulated arm phone holder attached, but phone holder with clamp for phone is best.

Works really well. I wish it was about 8 inches longer.

I bought this to convert a recumbent bike into a workstation. I got it on Tuesday, easily got it 95% assembled, but when I went to attach the base I found that the bolts included were half as long as they needed to be. They weren’t even long enough to get through the thickness of the base.I reached out to the seller on Tuesday night. They responded very quickly with an apology and a FedEx tracking number for the new bolts that they sent.I got the bolts this afternoon - after just two days. I got the base bolted on and moved it over to my bike. I measured before buying, but I was still a bit concerned that something would keep me from using it the way I intended. It fits perfectly, is surprisingly solid/sturdy, and the height adjustment and tilt functionality work exactly as advertised.

The only thing I might change on this is making the painted metal finish matte instead of high gloss to better match the nice laminate top. It is high gloss “snow white” which is good for keeping clean but a little stark for me.I really like the fact that the height adjustment is via a gas spring - like an office chair - vs. an electric motor as it’s one less thing to break and does not rely on a rechargeable battery which may not last as long as the desk. It’s a little bigger than others I’ve reviewed which is a plus. The little gray stick on pad is nicely designed to provide a wrist rest and keep items from rolling off when tilted. The built in casters are great. The controls are easy to use. Lift and lower with a handle on the right. It’s a two hand operation. And the tilt top easily moves to multiple positions with the paddle lever on the bottom. It took me about 30 minutes to unpack and build. The instructions were good.Make sure to have a Philips head screwdriver as the two-in-one Allen/Phillips wrench provided will take forever. Don’t tighten down any screws until all are screwed in lightly or it will be difficult to get the last ones in.Be careful not to over tighten the screws holding the plate to the bottom of the desktop. I stopped short of making them as tight as I could over concern of stripping the wood core. It would be good if the instructions addressed fastener tightening. The price is reasonable. It seemed quite sturdy despite the stated low 17.6 lb. weight for the desktop. Given that limit, I would be careful not to lean too much weight of your weight on it when using as a standing desk. You can extend the warranty to 3 years by registering at their website. Instructions are on the back of the assembly booklet.

This table is quite heavy. It doesn't have big chonky casters attached to the bottom, just some built in sleek rollers, so it doesn't roll super well on carpet. On tile it was just fine, though. That is not the major flaw, however. I went to test this and I put it over my side of the bed, which would be the right-hand side if you were standing at the foot of the bed facing the headboard. It works on this side of the bed as a flat table, but if you want to tilt it it will only tilt away from someone sitting on that side of the bed. You couldn't even assemble it backwards so that you could use it on that side of the bed because then the feet and the table would be facing opposite directions and it would probably fall over. Fortunately, tilting it isn't super important to me and in pretty much every other application I have in my house it tilting the other direction wouldn't be a problem, but if you intend to use the full functionality on the right side of the bed you will not be able to.Update: This thing is HEAVY. I've been mostly using it by my side of the bed even though I have other places I'd like to try it because it's a pain to move around. The wide H-shaped feet help keep it stable but also makes it so it catches on the legs of my bed frame if I try reposition it.Additionally, it takes A LOT of strength to lower the table. I can't really do it myself when I'm sitting in bed, I need to move so that I can put the full weight of my upper body on it if I want to make it shorter. Had to ask my fiancée to push it down for me when it wasn't convenient for me to get up because I couldn't manage it myself. Making it taller is easy, it shoots right up when you push the lever, but I've never had a similar mechanism need so much force to lower before. Might not be a good choice for someone who is bedridden/recovering/weak. I'm no bodybuilder, but I also wouldn't describe myself as frail: I'm 36 years old, 5'6", about 220 lbs (not the muscle-y kind), and it's an ordeal if I need to adjust the height.

Good quality table. My only complain it that it tilts opposite of where the handle is so you have to go around to tilt it.
