Does NOT fit the DRZ 400. It is way too long for a drz. It may fit the other bikes it is advertized for. Also the drz links are thin aluminum dogbone shaped. This item is thicker because it is like a round turnbuckle and it would impact on the shock bolt as everything needs to pivot in the mechanism. Just holding it up to the original links, one can see that it won't work on a drz. Nice idea, but impractical for me. I am returning and getting one specifically made for the DRZ.

These are very well made, and the quality of materials and workmanship is top notch. The anodized blue color is very well done, and it looks great on the bike, which has the same color blue trim. I installed these on a well used Gen 3 KLR650, and it was an easy installation, but I have done a number of these in the past. Still, if you are of reasonable mechanical skill, have a way to get the rear wheel solidly up off the ground a little way, possibly the assistance of a friend, and willingness to actually read and re-read the instructions until you understand them, you should have no problems. This allowed me to lower the rear of the bike a little over an inch at the rear of the seat, which is all that was required. It fits correctly, adjusts easily, and does not change the feel of the suspension, only the ride height, which on a stock KLR650 is in the nose bleed altitude for some folks. I think this is an excellently designed and manufactured product that performs great, looks great, and is very much worth the low cost, and I can definitely recommend this kit.

These are very thick and sturdy links, which is good if you plan to ride very hard on the bike. The adjustability is really pretty good in terms of variation and the color looks nice too. I have installed lowering links before several times, so it was very easy for me to do, however this is a project that varies person to person and these don't make it hard or easy to do.
